Hey pallies, likes wanna thanks our Dino-philic pallie Danny-o for startin' off our Dino-winter-month with 2---count em---2 versions of our fav of fav Dino-wintery croon..."It's A Marshmallow World" a wonderfully wise way of gettin' all us Dino-adulators in the Dino-seasonal spirit. Likewise we thanks our Danny-o for kindly choosin' not to share the version of this coolest of cool croon that is our personally personal fav...the one Dino sang back in '75 on a Bob Hope seasonal special..that we will offer later in this Dino-month.
Today we turn to 'nother Dino-fanatic, a life-long Dino-devotee who often keeps us up-to-Dino-date on the newest of new Dino-releases, our pallie Mr. DeansPalley who pattered us on our Happy Dino Thanksgiving post with this wondrous Dino-news.....
New version of Dino's Reprise recording of White Christmas with an updated arrangement that still pays tribute the original recording. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra does a great job with this, and Dean's voice is very rich and full sounding. I offer this link. https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=pl&u=https://www.sonymusic.pl/albumy/various-christmas-with-the-stars-and-the-royal-philharmonic-orchestra&prev=search Actually the entire album is wonderful....but I got it cuz of our man Dino!!
While all us Dino-followers await for copies of this new Dino-treasure, we share with youse below a live version of "White Christmas" that our Dino sweetly sang on the Dean Martin's Christmas in California (December 18, 1977). This version includes Mr. Greg Garrison's intro relatin' that after the Dino-special aired, Garrison got a telephone call from "White Christmas" scriber Mr. Irving Berlin sayin' that our Dino's version was "The best version I have ever heard."
Once 'gain we thanks Mr. DeansPalley for this huge huge heads up on The Royal Philhamonic Orchestra's veritable version of Dino's "White Christmas."
We Remain,
Yours In Dino,
Dino Martin Peters

Legacy Recordings, a section of the Sony Music Entertainment catalog, begins the holiday season with the premiere of the album CHRISTMAS WITH THE STARS AND THE ROYAL PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA. This album includes 13 classic and most-loved Christmas songs arranged by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Steve Sidwell.
Produced by Don Reedman and Nick Patrick and recorded in the famous Abbey Road Studio 2, the album is the latest result of collaboration between The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Legacy Recordings.
After the phenomenal global success of the album If I Can Dream: Elvis Presley with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in 2015 (which sold over 1.5 million copies), The Wonder Of You: Elvis Presley from The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (which sold in over 800,000 copies worldwide) and Christmas with Elvis and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (which debuted at # 1 on the Billboard Classical Albums list in 2017) Legacy Recordings, in collaboration with Roy's Boy's LLC, also released albums: A Love So Beautiful: Roy Orbison with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (2017) and Unchained Melodies: Roy Orbison with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (2018).
"Christmas music evokes warm emotions in the surroundings of family, friends and children. When you have artists such as Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, the wonderful Doris Day and incomparable Eartha Kitt, working on these amazing songs full of joy and Christmas spirit was great fun, "said producer Nick Patrick.
Second producer Don Reedman writes: "... we are happy that we can celebrate this unique opportunity thanks to our cooperation with the Royal Orchestra. Andy Williams introduces the mood by starting a musical journey through Christmas. We're reliving the Christmas story with Johnny Mathis and Harry Belafonte. Perry Como, Tony Bennett, Doris Day, Dean Martin, Eartha Kitt, Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley convey the spirit of this wonderful season.
We hope you enjoy our album and wish each of you ... love, joy, hope, peace and happiness in the coming year. Merry Christmas!"
