For deep-pocketed car collectors, August means taking a look at rare, unique and extremely valuable vehicles of all vintages at Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elégance, a car show that has been held on a golf course in California since 1950. Major auction houses like Gooding anchor events around the prestigious auto extravaganza and among the rarified rides up for bid this year is a 90-year-old Bentley, a deep purple 2019 hypercar, and just about everything in between. Take a look at some of the most interesting cars appearing at this year's event, starting with this rare 1962 Ghia L6.4 Coup customized for the late American singer Dean Martin by George Barris, designer of the 1966 Batmobile.
