Danny G's Sunday Serenade with Dino: "April In Paris"

Good mornin', afternoon, evenin', friends!
Whatever the case may be!

Hey, pals...I'm not even 100% positive that it's even Sunday!
Hahaha!!!

Am I doin' "Danny G's Thursday Serenade with Dino"?!
It's kind've all been blurred together, these days.

Am I right?

Groundhog day...as a friend o' mine, calls it.

Everyday seems the same as yesterday...& the day before & the day before that.

I would've bet my last bottle of Zin that Tuesday was actually Wednesday!
Haha!!
Had to check my phone twice that day.

O well, mi amici...it is, what it is.

We makin' the best situation out of a not so cool situation.

We're doin' the right thin'.
We're stayin' safe...I hope.
Pourin' up some vino...& chillin' with our main man, Dino.

Speakin' of our main dudes...I'm wonderin' where our fearless leader, DMP,  has been.
I know he has his personal thins' he deals with, from time to time...but I'm gettin' a little worried now. Been a couple months since his last re-emergin'... & that was brief.
Let's keep him in our prayers, pallies.

OK...let's get some Dino flowin'.
Sound good?
Great!

Keeps me goin', my friends.

Keeps the optimism brewin' in me.

I know thins' are crazy...but Dean's jams...spirit & vibe...seriously help me keep my eye on that light at the end of the tunnel, pallies.

Now...there's NO WAY...I was lettin' April slip away...without sharin' some "April in Paris".

A soft & mellow tune.
Relaxin'.
Calmin'.
Pure tranquility, mi amici.

I put pictures to words, in my dizzy mind,  as I listen to the lyrics.
Try it, pals.
Close your eyes...& let Dino take the wheel.
It's sure to put all this craziness aside...& soak in some of Dean's "cool".

OK, pallies o' mine...stay safe by stayin' home.

We're getting; there...I think, hope.
Haha!!

Whatever...enjoy the Serenadin'.

Ciao!

Danny G's Sunday Serenade with Dino: "C'est Si Bon"

Man o' man, pals...What the heck is goin' on here?!

Was this whole Springtime thin' just a crazy dream?!

Did I just wake up in December?!

Maybe I should be spinnin' "Marshmallow World", still...instead of "April in Paris"!

I'm lookin' out my window, & all I see is a fluffy blanket of snow!
My green grass is gone...the buddin' flowers are buried...& the Blue birds are takin' cover!
Haha!!
Pure insanity!
Hahaha!!!

I guess the only thin' to do is laugh, mi amici.

After all...these ARE insane times!

The whole world seems to be upside-down, right now.

I suppose a little New England snowstorm in mid-April should be expected at this point.
Who knows, pallies...maybe tomorrow the sky will fall!

Yup...2020 is DEF I NATE LY gonna be one for the record books.

Well, my friends...I won't let a few inches of snowflakes throw me off.
I'm stayin' the course, man!
Haha!!

I got's me plenty of Dino & plenty of vino & I'm doin' just fine.

Gettin' use to sittin' home, anyway, pals o' mine.

I'm bettin' wherever youse is...readin' this...your skies are blue & the sun is shinin'.
So, with that in mind...I will continue onward...with Springtime Dino jams in my heart...& a Scotch on the rocks in my hand!
Hahaha!!!

Let's get to Dean's "French Style" al b um.
Let's pick a fun one.
Somethin' to take our crazy minds, off this crazy world.

How's 'bout some "C'est Si Bon"?
Yes!
Sounds good to me, pallies!

I'm doin' 2 great great vids from Dino's show for this one, pals.
Simply couldn't pick one over the other!
I love the first for Dean's fun & silly kinda way 'bout him...& I loves the second for his SUPREME vocal.
Hey, pals...what other choice do I have ?!
Ha!

Oh, & by the way...THIS is the Dino-tune with the reference to ol' Franky, at the end.
I don't know where my head is at, lately, mi amici.
I think we ALL are thinkin' with scrambled eggs for brains, right 'bout now.

O well, friends...it is what it is.
And it WILL pass!

Stay Dino-focused!
Stay safe & stay home!

We'll get through it.

Danny G's Sunday Serenade with Dino: "The Poor People Of Paris"

Hey pals!

Happy Easter!

Is all my fellow Dino-diggin' peeps followin' the rules?
The social distancin' thin'...the masks...the stayin' home?

That's what we gotta do, mi amici.

Looks like it's the best chance we's got, at squashin' this UGLY thin'!
Bruta!
And we will squash it, pals.

Someday we will be able to look back and say..."Man o man...what a freakin' nightmare that was!"
Yup.
Someday.
Hopefully sooner than later...but...I thinks we got a way to go.

Anyways' pallies...I cracked myself up today...& I figured I tell youse why.

So, as soon as I got up this mornin'...I knew I had thins' to do.
A long list of errands.

As usual, I grabbed my Ear Buds.
Those "cordless headphone type thins"...for any of us over 50.
Haha...and headed out.

So, as I'm goin' 'bout my weekend duties...I gots my Dino croonin' in my ears.

Not really payin' to close of attention to what I'm actually listenin' to.
Just sailin' 'round with our pal.

Then, as I was wrappin' up my first job of the day...I realized...to my amazement...I had just been jammin' along to 'bout 30 minutes of Dino's "Winter Romance" al b um!
Haha!!

Just struck me funny that I've been waitin' & anticipatin' Spring for soooo long.
Waitin' to be able to crank up the Springtime tunes...& here I is floatin' 'round to Dean's Winter jams! Hahaha!!!

Hey, pals...just goes to show...Any Dino & ALL Dino is good ANY time & ALL the time!

Yea yea… I know...not very funny, Danny G..
Guess youse had to be there...but youse get the point.

Well, that's 'nough outta me.
Let's get back to the Springtime Serenadin'!

Yup...that could only mean one thin', pallies...I is jumpin' back to Dino's "French Style" al b um!
A Pure Pure work of art!

Get's me in that "April" kinda mood, my friends.
Youse too?
I bet it does!

OK...so how's 'bout a wee bit o' "The Poor People of Paris"? I know...not my usual sort of Easter jam. But...I'm just in this crazy vibe right now. We need to let Dean get us smilin'. As he does, on this one, so easily.

Definitely one of Dean's funnest tunes.

Loves how he has to throw a reference to his bestest pal, Frank...at the end.
Haha!!
Silly fella.

Well, mi amici...hope all is well.

Happy Easter!
Buona Pasqua!

Don't forget the reason for this great great season!

Stay home...Stay safe...& let's keep the Dino & the vino flowin'!

Ciao!

Perfecto for a rainy Spring day like this, pallies.

Hahaha!!!
Takes away ALL this insanity...just for a moment or two.

Reminds me that thins' maybe lousy for now...but life STILL is GOOD!

So, my fellow followers of Dean...I'm sittin' here...lookin out my window...at our big beautiful world...& all I can think is...you look stunnin'!

Dean Martin

Steubenville's Favorite Son -"I Love to sing"
Dean Martin, who began his singing career in the dance halls and night clubs of Steubenville, Ohio, became one of the most popular and successful entertainers of the 20th century. Dean was a singer, radio and television show host, comedian, and actor who soared to top of the night club, recording, broadcast, and movie industries.  As a recording artist he charted over 30 singles and 30 albums in the Billboard top 100. He had 6 number 1 hits, 19 Gold records, 2 Platinum albums, and was honored with a lifetime Grammy Achievement Award.  In 1969 Dean was the highest paid performer in television with the number 1 rated show that had an audience of 50 million viewers.  The Dean Martin Show ran for 9 years from 1965 to 1970 on NBC followed by the Dean Martin Roasts that ran during the 1970s.  He starred in 51 movies. With Jerry Lewis he made 16 films that were in the top 10 movie money makers for 6 years..  As a solo actor he appeared in top box office money makers Airport, Cannonball Run, Oceans Eleven, and the Matt Helm series. His most noted performances were in the “Young Lions” and “Rio Bravo”   As a Los Vegas headliner he was one of the top draws at the Sands and MGM for three decades.  At his peak in the late 1960s he earned over $15 million per year.

Steubenville Start

Born as Dino Crocetti in Steubenville Ohio, in 1917, Dino was the son of Italian immigrants Gaetano and Angela Crocetti.  His father was a successful barber who had immigrated from Montesilvano in the Abruzzi Region of Italy. His mother Angela immigrated from the Naples region. Dino spoke italian at home until he was five, learning English when he attended public school.  As a child Dino loved to sing around the house and at at family gatherings.  He sang popular Italian folks songs and ballads popularized by his idols Harry Mills of the Mills Brothers and Bing Crosby.  He also took voice lessons from Corrine Applegate the wife of Steubenville’ mayor.

Dino’s hometown, Steubenville, was a smokey town of steels mills and coal mining on the Ohio River 50 miles west of Pittsburgh.  During the prohibition years from 1920 to 1933 Steubenville became a town of bootlegging, prostitution, gambling, and night clubs.  Gentlemen from the tri-state area came to Steubenville to enjoy it’s illegal pleasures. There were a dozen pool halls and cigar stores in Steubville that had back room gambling. As a young teen Dino hung out in the pool halls becoming a street wise gambler who could handle himself in a fight.  He and friends earned cash delivering cases of bootleg whiskey to Canonsburg, Pa.

Not much for book learning and wise to the ways of the rackets, Dino dropped out of high school around 10th grade.  At age 15 he fought as a prize fighter under the name Kid Crochet.  Losing 11 of 12 matches he quit the fight business taking a job at Weirton Steel. He left the mill to take a trip to California with his pals where he visited Hollywood and dreamt of becoming a movie star.  Returning to Ohio in 1936, Dino joined the Steubenville gambling industy. He became a dealer in the back room gambling parlor of the Rex Cigar store. He dealt blackjack, ran the craps games, and was a croupier.

Singing in Clubs for Kicks

Flush with cash and well dressed, Dino and his friends spent their off hours going to dances held around Steubenville that had live bands.  The first time that Dino sang was before a crowd at a lake resort near Youngstown where the George Williams Orchestra was playing.  One of Dino’s friends asked the band leader if Dean could sing a number.  The band leader gave him a shot letting Dean sing the Italian song “Oh Marie"   Urged by his friends Dino continued to go on stage with dance bands at the weekly dances.  He became known to all of the orchestras and was welcomed to the stage.  Wanting now to sing more than anything Dino and his friends began frequenting the music clubs of Steubenville.  Getting up on stage frequently to sing with the club bands at his friends request Dino developed a repetoire of old standards, italian songs, and Bing Crosby song tunes.. He also developed a easy rapport with the audiences.

Turning Pro

In 1939 Dino was singing at the Jungle Inn when a band leader from Columbus, Ohio, Ernie McKay, heard him.  McKay gave Dino his first paying singing job hiring him at $40 a week.  McKay billed him as “Dino Martini” (based on the famous opera singer Nino Martini) and took him to Columbus for a steady gig at a dance hall above a chop-suey palace.

At age 22 in 1940 Dino was hired at $35 a week by the Sammy Watkins Orchestra to be the featured singer for their long running engagement at the posh Vogue Room of Cleveland’s Hollenden hotel.  Watkins said "that Italian name has to go and renamed him “Dean Martin”.  Dean’s first performance in Cleveland got a national write up in Variety.

"Watkins has acquired a new vocalist, Dean Martin, who backs a personable kisser with a low tenor and agreeable manner."

In 1942 the Sammy Watkins Orchestra won a spot on the nationally broadcast NBC radio "Fitch Bandwgon show.  Broadcast live from WTAM in Cleveland Dean sang four songs that were heard across the country.  In 1943 the Riobamba Club in New York called looking for a singer to replace Frank Sinatra who just had canceled a gig.  Dean sign a contract with the MCA agency and took off to New York to launch his national career.

The crowds at the Riobamba club loved him and Dean starting singing on radio stations WABC and WOR. He landed his own daily 15 minute show “Songs By Dean Martin” on WMCA.  Dean appeared in other New York clubs and in other cities, but he struggled financially.  He crashed with friends and split donuts and coffee specials for nourishment. To get appearances he sold 10% shares of himself to twelve managers/promoters and had to file to bankruptcy.  In 1946, he recorded four songs with Diamond Records and released his first single “Which Way Did My Heart Go?” which received little notice.

Meeting Jerry

In 1945 Dean shared the bill the Glass Hat club with a young comedian named Jerry Lewis.  Jerry and Dean became friends and they were on on the same bills at other clubs.  At the Havana-Madrid club they started to take the stage together just "screwing around".   Bllboard Magazine took notice and said they had the making of a sock act.  They were booked as seperate acts by the 500 club in Atlantic City, but the club owner demanded that they work together or be fired. They quickly wrote some routines and went on as Martin and Lewis. Within days they were a smash hit and the club was mobbed.  Martin and Lewis went on to become night club sensations, movie stars, and had their own hit NBC radio and television shows.   They were a top drawing act and box office movie stars for ten years.

Going Solo

Dean, who felt that he was seen as just the second banana straight man to Jerry, split up the act going solo in 1956.  The critics and public though that his easy listening music would not fair well on against the rise of Rock and Roll.  Working with pianist/arranger Ken Lane, who wrote the song “Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime”, Dean put together a new solo act that was premiered at the Twin Coaches club in June of 1956 in Pittsburgh to rave reviews.  With his new act Dean became the headliner at the Sands Hotel in Vegas.  He had the coolest show in town and was joined frequently on stage with his Rat Pack friends Frank Sinatra and Sammy David Jr.  In 1958 he landed a part in the movie Young Lions appearing with Marlon Brando and Montgomery Cliff.  That role launched his solo movie career.  He hosted his first NBC television special in 1958 and his regular series in 1965.  His recording career took off with a string of hits in the late 1950’s and 1960’s.

Recording Career

Singer Dean Martin recorded 600 songs and released 62 albums the Capital , Reprise, and Warner Brothers, and Pickwick labels.  In 1964, at the peak of Beatlemania, he knocked the Beatles out of number 1 with his single "Everybody Loves Somebody,"   Other notable songs are"Memories Are Made of This", "That's Amore", "Mambo Italiano", "Sway", "Volare" and "Ain't That a Kick in the Head.

Final Days

In the late '70s, Martin's health began to decline, and he focused his career on night club appears and the occasional celebrity TV roasts. Dean make his last movie appearance in 1984’s Canonball Run II.  He died Christmas Day, 1995.  The city of Steubenville named a street after him and remembers him with the annual Dean Martin Festival.

"I is hopin' & prayin' ...everythin' will eventually get back to normal, mi amici.

Then we can all get back to livin' & lovin'...likes all us devoted Dino-holics were born to do!

So, pallies...I'm thinkin'...this week...we ALL could use some upliftin' & positive croonin', from our main dude, Dino.

A happy Serenade...that will lift us waaayyyy up high!

Take us away...just for a moment...from all this craziness.

Keep us focused on the good stuff, pals."

And, of course, once 'gain, our Danny G. shared the purely perfect Dino-croon just when we needed it most.

Our Danny-o's wonderfully wise work of supremely scribin' perfect prose with the powerful pairin' of just the right Dino-croon Dino-week by Dino-week is truly a great great gift for all us who have been welcomed into our Dino's wonderful world and crave this Dino-nourishment to continue to be fully filled with the happiness that only our Dino lays on us Dino-holics.

Likes to our way of Dino-thinkin', our Danny G. is sharin'  the deepest of deep Dino-therapy for all us
Dino-adulators helpin' us grow deeper and deeper in our most beloved Dino.  We were led to type the words Dean Martin and therapy into the ol' google search engine and we found this grooviest of groovy graphic below that perfectly proclaims the Dino-truth:  I DON'T NEED THERAPY, I JUST NEED TO LISTEN TO DEAN MARTIN.

KEEN KUDOS TO OUR DINO-BRO DANNY G!

Re-released: DEAN MARTIN & JERRY LEWIS 8 MOVIE COLLECTION

1

Hey pallies, likes we gotta 'fess up that we are way behind the Dino-times in deliverin' the lastest and greatest Dino-news, but as all us Dino-philes know, better Dino-late then Dino-never.  Today we are perfectly pumped and powerfully psyched to share that fine folks at Paramount  re-released the first eight big screen Dino & Jerry epics on February 18 of this very Dino year, and at a remarkably reasonable price.  Retailing at the STP of $26.98, that's less then 4 buck per film, and many many sources at sellin' it below retail.

This is great news to all Dino-holics who failed to purchase these coolest of cool classics in their prior two releases and have had to pay beaucoup bucks to get 'em.  We shouts out our deepest of deep delight in their return to mass availability and hopes that it will not be long before the Paramount folks see their way clear to releasin' the second volume of these Martin & Lewis flicks.

Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis: 8-Movie Collection
DVD

Collection Synopsis:
The legendary duo of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis made 17 crowd-pleasing films together during their early Hollywood careers. From their debut in the 1949 fun-fest My Friend Irma to their last in 1956, one thing is for sure, Martin and Lewis continually kept audiences in stitches. This package collects eight of their earlier side-splitting, high jinks-filled, buddy comedies for all to enjoy. Take a trip back in time when a skinny slapstick comedian and a handsome crooner could have this much fun together.

Four-disc set includes:

My Friend Irma (1949)

My Friend Irma

In their screen debut, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis star as Steve and Seymour, orange juice stand jockeys who befriend scatterbrained blonde Irma Peterson (Marie Wilson), whose con man boyfriend (John Lund) plans to make velvet-voiced Steve a star. Steve soon falls for Irma’s roommate Jane (Diana Lynn), but she has her heart set on marrying a rich man. Don DeFore, Hans Conried also star in this zesty comedy, based on the popular radio series. 103 min. BW/Rtg: NR

My Friend Irma Goes West (1950)

My Friend Irma Goes West

Laugh-packed sequel follows Steve (Dean Martin), Seymour (Jerry Lewis), Irma (Marie Wilson), Jane (Diana Lynn), and Al (John Lund) to Hollywood after Steve lands a movie contract. But when the "producer" who signed him is revealed to be an escaped mental patient, it’s but the first stop on a wacky path that somehow leads to Irma being kidnapped and held for ransom in Las Vegas. Corinne Calvet Lloyd Corrigan co-star. 91 min. BW/Rtg: NR

That’s My Boy (1951)

That's My Boy

Despite both of his parents being accomplished athletes, "Junior" Jackson (Jerry Lewis) is a total clutz. Bill Baker (Dean Martin) is a cash-strapped college football star whose tuition is paid by Junior’s dad (Eddie Mayehoff) for toughening up his meek and mild son so he can excel on their school’s team. Trouble arises when the girl (Marion Marshall) Junior likes seems to have eyes for Bill. With Ruth Hussey, Polly Bergen. 104 min. BW/Rtg: NR

Sailor Beware (1952)

Sailor Beware

The Navy may never be the same now that Al Crowthers (Dean Martin) and Melvin Jones (Jerry Lewis) have joined up. An allergy to cosmetics makes it nearly impossible for Melvin to kiss girls. He romances make-up-free Hilda (Marion Marshall), but a false reputation as a Casanova leads to a bet between Al and a gruff CPO (Robert Strauss) that Melvin can score a smooch from beautiful nightclub singer Corinne Calvet (as herself). 108 min. BW/Rtg: NR

Jumping Jacks (1952)

Jumping Jacks

It’s "Geronimo!" for Corporal Chick Allen (Dean Martin), an entertainer-turned-U.S. Army paratrooper who recruits civilian ex-partner Hap Smith (Jerry Lewis) to help him put on a show on his base. Hap is forced to impersonate a soldier for what’s meant to be a one-off gig, but finds himself stuck in uniform when he and Chick are a hit and get sent on tour. With Mona Freeman, Don DeFore, Robert Strauss. 96 min. BW/Rtg: NR

The Stooge (1952)

The Stooge

Comic farce with some surprising dramatic and autobiographical moments starring Dean Martin as Bill Miller, an accordion-playing vaudevillian who decides to go solo without help from his partner (Richard Erdman). After falling flat on his face, Bill’s manager suggests he recruit a "stooge" in the form of a zany, put-upon second banana. Enter Ted Rogers (Jerry Lewis). But how long can Ted remain the butt of Bill’s jokes without proper credit. Polly Bergen, Eddie Mayehoff also star. 99 min. BW/Rtg: NR

The Caddy (1953)

The Caddy

Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis break par for laughs in this zany tale of hi-jinx on the golf links. As caddy and golf instructor Harvey Miller, Jr. (Lewis) helps turn duffer pal Joe Anthony (Martin) into a success on the green, the pair attracts the attention of a talent agent who suggests they try their hands at comedy. Donna Reed co-stars, there’s cameos by Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, and other golfers, and Dino sings "That’s Amoré." 95 min. BW/Rtg: NR

Scared Stiff (1953)

Sailor Beware

Bob Hope’s fright-comedy "The Ghost Breakers" was retooled to fit the talents of Martin and Lewis, and the result was one of Dean and Jerry’s funniest films. When he wrongly thinks he’s killed a mobster, a nightclub singer (Martin) and his friend (Lewis) hide out in a haunted castle that becomes the setting for some spooky goings-on, not the least of which is Jerry’s impersonation of co-star Carmen Miranda! With Lizabeth Scott, George Dolenz. 108 min. BW/Rtg: NR

Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono; Subtitles: English.

He knows I love Dean Martin.....

Dino (biography).jpg

Hey pallies, likes we gotta 'fess up that we are always always remarkably radiantly refreshed each and every time we discover 'nother pallie who profoundly proudly proclaims their awesome amore of our beautifully beloved Dino.  Today we are totally totally thrilled to share yet 'nother Dino-devoted lady's deepest of deep delight in our one and only Dino.  Her name is Miss Ronda Rich and she writes a weekly column for the "Forsyth County News," a thrice weekly rag for Forsyth County in Georgia.
We were lovin'ly led to her Dino-delight by our pallies at google Dino-'lerts.

In one of Miss Rich's weekly columns she shares that she and her significant other, Tink  "were visiting with friends in Virginia," when her host made inquiry of Ronda, "“Have you read this Dean Martin biography?”  It's then that Rich reveals to her readership that "I love Dean Martin."  Likes pallies, we can't help but believe that the Dino-tome that was swankly shared was non-other then Nick Tosches magnificant masterpiece, "DINO: Living High In The Dirty Business Of Dreams."

We are once 'gain marvelously moved to be able to pass this Dino-devotion on to all youse pallies and encouragin' each and every one of us that name the name of our Dino to openly and affirmatively proclaim our absolute awe of our Dino to those in our spear of influence.  We says our thank you very much to Miss Ronda Rich for sharin' her love of our main man and  you can check this out in it's original source by clickin' on the tag of of this Dino-report.  And, likes you can visit Miss Rich's personal pad at www.rondarich.com.

Updated: March 8, 2020, 1 a.m.

Recently, Tink and I were visiting with friends in Virginia when I asked if I could go upstairs to their library and borrow a couple of books.

Often, I borrow books from these friends as well as take them books of mine to read since we enjoy historical books, biographies and autobiographies.

Don followed me upstairs. “Take anything you want,” he said as he looked around and pulled out ones he thought I’d enjoy.

“Have you read this Dean Martin biography?” He knows I love Dean Martin so I took that one.

Dean Martin’s songs celebrated sweetness and innocence.

Hey pallies, likes his tag is Tom Purcell  and likes Mr. Purcell's  claim to fame is as a humor columnist for the Pittsburgh Tribune-review with his coolly cleaver columns bein nationally syndicated in noteworthy newspapers all 'round the good ol' USA.   Our pallies at google swankly sent us a Dino-'lert 'bout his post recent column, "How to renew the dying art of romance? Ask our elders," as featured on the web home base of the "POST INDEPENDENT -Serving Glenwood Springs and Garfield County, CO."

Likes youse guessed it pallies, Purcell gives the neatest of neat nods to the most most romanico fella the world has ever known....our one, our only DINO!  Below we share a couple of supremely stunnin' sentences from Tom's pen that sweetly speaks  voluptuous volumes of Purcell's deepest of deep Dino-delight and incredible insight into our Dino's life, times, and teachin's.

Likes as we have been workin' on this Dino-gram it seemed to us that this was not the first time that we have shared  wonderful words of Dino-adulation from Purcell and doin' a wee bit of searchin' posts at our ilovedinomartin waterin' hole we found that we shared  almost 7 years ago on February 28, 2013 that you can reverently relish HERE.   We also found that our pallie of pallies, our own Danny-o had shared more of Purcell's touchin' 'n tender Dino-appreciatio in Feburary 2017  HERE.

We are perfectly perfectly pumped to share more of columnist Mr. Tom Purcell's awesomely amazin' adulation of our Dino once 'gain here at our little ilovedinomartin conclave and we thank him so very very Dino-much for publicly profoundly pontificatin' on our great great man in such  an open and affirmin' wondrous way certain to draw many more into the Dino-fold and powerfully profound devotion to our main man.  To read Purcell's column in total simply clicks on the tag of this Dino-report.

We Remain,

Yours In Dino,

Dino Martin Peters

Purcell column: How to renew the dying art of romance? Ask our elders
Columns | February 10, 2020

Tom Purcell

Whereas many of today’s hit songs celebrate fear, anger and cynicism (“He cheated on me!”), Dean Martin’s songs celebrated sweetness and innocence. Idealistic and uplifting, his songs were ROMANTIC.

Dino’s songs celebrated the subtle dance of the spirit between a man and a woman — the magic that occurs when two complementary natures collide.
