Veteran funnyman Jerry Lewis says writing a book dedicated to former partner Dean Martin was important.
Lewis, 82, is on the Gold Coast as part of Australian concert tour.
He and Martin ended their stormy partnership in the 1950s.
Lewis says his book, Dean And Me, was a chance to demonstrate his respect for the singer.
"It was important enough to sit there and grind out the time and battle the memory to find and remember and do," he said.
"It was a tremendous cathartic [experience] for me."
Lewis, meanwhile, says people should be honoured while they are alive.
"I have been for most of my life dead-set against funerals. I think it's uncivilised," he said.
"If you want to pay respect to someone, don't wait until they croak. Do it while they're here, that's what I believe and that's what I do.
"So if I hear someone's gonna die, right away I run over and tell them nice stuff fast while they're here."

ME & MY NEW BFF REGIS PHILBIN
WHAT A COOL DAY TUESDAY WAS!
So we get our tickets to LIVE with Regis and Kelly, and Jeff has this big idea that I should get my picture taken with the big Dean Martin stand-up that Bert sent to Regis as a thank you for mentioning The Bert Show on LIVE a few months back. He called the show publicist and shared his idea, but as it was a last-minute request, we didn't expect anything to come of it.
My friend and I get to the studio before 8, as instructed. I give my name to the attendant, and he asks us to stand to the side. A few minutes later, the publicist for LIVE (hi, Barbara!) comes down and tells us that we can take the picture with Dean - in Regis' office! - after the show. Of course, we asked about a pictures with Regis and Kelly and she said that wouldn't happen, as they had a post-show event as soon as the broadcast ends. Then she walked us over to the line and put us right at the front, and when we got in the studio (which is much smaller in person, by the way) they sat us front-row center.
The music starts and Regis and Kelly come out and LIVE begins. We were only about 5 feet from them and it was awesome. During the first commercial break, Regis and Kelly get out of their seats and come right up to audience and talk to everyone. Then we are back on and Vanessa Hudgens comes out and she is REALLY pretty in person.
And then, it starts to get REALLY fun. After Vanessa, Regis and Kelly get up from their seats and come right over to ME. Regis introduces himself and then says something about the Dean Martin thing. Kelly introduces herself and says something about the High-Heel-A-Thon (that was the reason Regis was on with the Bert Show, that started the whole Dean Martin thing.) I have to be honest ... I was starstruck! Don't know why, because normally I don't get that way! Maybe it was the live show, or that they were taking time out DURING the show to talk to only me, but I don't remember the particulars of what we said. They were totally nice, and I was able to introduce them to my friend, and then the break was over and they went back to the desk and the show continued.
Fast-forward past the other guests (Gavin Rossdale totally hot) and now it's the end of the show. We stand where we were told to stand, and an intern comes to take us to Regis' office and Dean! We walk down a back hallway, and standing at the elevator is REGIS! He asked if we were on way to his office, and told us HE would take us! We hop in the elevator WITH REGIS and he was SO NICE and SO FRIENDLY and is talking to us like we are old friends. We get off the elevator and start weaving through the cubicles to Regis' office. Sure enough, Dean was waiting for us!
Regis couldn't have been nicer. He posed for pictures, told us funny stories, asked about our visit to NY, and was as nice as can be.
After about 15 minutes, we thanked him and headed out ... where we ran into Kelly! She, too, was AWESOME. She asked about the pic with Dean and thanked us for coming to the show. BUT WE FORGOT TO GET A PICTURE WITH KELLY RIPA! Arrrrrgh!
But the excitement didn't end there.
After we left the studio, we wanted to find a Starbucks to sit and review the great morning. So we started walking, and I was calling Jeff and friends to share the experience. I was standing in front of Starbucks when I saw David Muir. I hung up on the person I was talking with.
Who is David Muir, you ask? Well, he's a reporter and anchor for ABC News. He was also Jeff's best friend in high school. Jeff's parents have kept us both in the loop on all of the steps of David's awesome career, from local Syracuse reporter to anchor to Boston local to national ABC stuff to doing GMA and filling in for Charles Gibson. One important note: Jeff's graduating class was only 60 people or so! Talk about small world!
"DAVID!" I screamed.
One other important note: I've never met David!
He looked surprised and scared all at once. I was still on the high from Regis & Kelly, so I was talking a mile a minute. I finally got out that I was Jeff Dauler's wife, and David realized I was 'safe.' He bought us our coffee and we talked for a bit. I congratulated him on his success, he asked a ton of questions about Jeff and Jeff's family. I made David pose for a camera phone picture with me, that I knew would blow Jeff away. (I found out later I was right.)

The inaugural Delhi Fashion Week kicks off in the city — sans a ramp
Possibly one of a handful of female designers making menswear, Rajvi Mohan, 27, kicked off the maiden Delhi Fashion Week that started at the DLF Centre, adjacent to Emporio Mall, on Tuesday. The Delhi Fashion Week is small in scale, with less than 30 designers participating (at last count, the Wills India Fashion Week had over 70). However, on Day 1, things went off as they should — right from efficient valet parking to well-spaced out show area to food options, you can pick between AD Singh’s new Japanese restaurant Ai and a more familiar Costa Coffee counter. There are teething issues, of course. Late starts apart, the ramp here is a flat strip of white cardboard (diligently covered with a white sheet at other times and guarded by a pack of ushers). “The idea was to make the shows compact and closer to the audience, so we decided to do away with the conventional ramp,” says Geetanjali Kashyap of the Fashion Foundation of India (FFI).
Mohan made her first ever participation at a fashion week in the country with “Rat Pack Nirvana”, a tribute to her fashion icon, Dean Martin. The Delhiite comes with impressive credentials, having trained with the famed Vivienne Westwood and studied at the Parson’s School of Design, New York. Her collection, which has a hint of Indian prints, is otherwise inspired by the grunge look of the Forties and the Fifties and a generation of entertainers like Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr and Martin. “I wanted to do a line that would look at Martin’s sense of dressing in an Indian context. This is what I felt it would be like,” she said. There were front pleats and generous layering, intelligent panelling that highlighted the contrasts and an interplay of summer hues, from bright yellows to aster blues and wild limes.
Akshay Kumar and his costume designer Shabinaa Khan can pat themselves on the back for sparking off a trend. Mohan’s show had a liberal sprinkling of trousers cut to the knee for more formal capris, a look that Kumar has made famous in his movie Singh is Kinng. We liked the jackets in particular, with their streamlined lapels and play on essential summer textiles like linen and stretch cotton. The only patchy part of the show was the fittings of some of the ensembles — a few sherwani bottoms looked like a cross between zoaves and fitted pajamas.
Abhijeet Khanna’s collection, which came next, focussed on all things luxurious, even in these times of near-recession. His collection — an assortment of shift dresses, harem pants and tops, inspired by the Indian styling of French Rococo — was embellished with sequins and incorporated Indian embroidery in otherwise western silhouettes. Khanna had been design assistant to Manish Arora for over four years, and the affinity to Arora’s sensibilities clearly shows. The fish-scale-patterned dress that ended the show was reminiscent of Arora’s warrior collection.
The day also saw a fair presence of buyers. “We have commitments from 160 buyers and nobody has cancelled so far. It should be a fair turnout,” said Sumeet Nair of FFI. While Khanna’s show had quite a few buyers, the second half of the day was expected to have a stronger buyer presence. Those expected include Isetan from Tokyo, Ovo Studio from Madrid, Design Best from Bordeaux and Seibu from Hong Kong.

This is what I felt it would be like,” she said. There were front pleats and generous layering, intelligent panelling that highlighted the contrasts and an interplay of summer hues, from bright yellows to aster blues and wild limes.
Akshay Kumar and his costume designer Shabinaa Khan can pat themselves on the back for sparking off a trend. Mohan’s show had a liberal sprinkling of trousers cut to the knee for more formal capris, a look that Kumar has made famous in his movie Singh is Kinng. We liked the jackets in particular, with their streamlined lapels and play on essential summer textiles like linen and stretch cotton. The only patchy part of the show was the fittings of some of the ensembles — a few sherwani bottoms looked like a cross between zoaves and fitted pajamas.
Abhijeet Khanna’s collection, which came next, focussed on all things luxurious, even in these times of near-recession. His collection — an assortment of shift dresses, harem pants and tops, inspired by the Indian styling of French Rococo — was embellished with sequins and incorporated Indian embroidery in otherwise western silhouettes. Khanna had been design assistant to Manish Arora for over four years, and the affinity to Arora’s sensibilities clearly shows. The fish-scale-patterned dress that ended the show was reminiscent of Arora’s warrior collection.
The day also saw a fair presence of buyers. “We have commitments from 160 buyers and nobody has cancelled so far. It should be a fair turnout,” said Sumeet Nair of FFI. While Khanna’s show had quite a few buyers, the second half of the day was expected to have a stronger buyer presence. Those expected include Isetan from Tokyo, Ovo Studio from Madrid, Design Best from Bordeaux and Seibu from Hong Kong.

Dean Martin was a frustrating entertainer.
There was no problem selling out his shows. He was iconic, the ultimate crooner, making singing look as easy as breathing. He was also one of the most reliable of the headliners, always showing up on time.
It was just that he approached his live performances the same way he did his television variety series, casually and unrehearsed. He rarely finished a song. He let his other reputation, that of a heavy drinker and rambling raconteur, take over his persona so completely that jokes and antics and digressions almost always took precedence over the music. Audiences forgave him, but he never built the legions of ardent returning fans other performers did. Once was usually enough.
Now, Martin's youngest son, Ricci, has built a show around his father, "That's Amore: A Tribute to Dean Martin," and he brings it to John Ascuaga's Nugget on Friday and Saturday.
There's no denying Martin deserves the tribute. He had hit after hit – "Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime," "Memories Are Made of This," "Volare," "Houston" and "That's Amore."
He was half (Jerry Lewis the other half) of one of the biggest comedy teams in show business history. He was part of the Rat Pack and in movies such as "Ocean's Eleven" and "Robin and the Seven Hoods." He astonished everybody with his solo acting career, whether seriously in "Some Came Running" or spoofing James Bond as Matt Helm. And his appearances on television may have been unpredictable, but almost always came off as entertaining.
Ricci sings the songs and banters with his band, The Pack, just as his father always interacted with pianist Kenny Lane and band. He also shows photos of the private and public Martin during the music, talks of his father's breakup with Jerry Lewis and shows a 1980s video he made for MTV shortly before his father's death, of Dad singing "Since I Met You Baby."
The son also attempts something his father never did. He leaves the stage and enters the audience, fielding questions. Audience members feel free to ask anything, even more so now that we are in the tell-all know-all age of celebrity, and Ricci's answers are direct and often funny. He has clearly inherited his father's wit.

Hey pallies, likes I always loves so much to read more and more stories from pallies who walked the earth with our Dino, so likes when I Dinodiscovered this Dinostory I knew that I had to make the Dinoeffort to share it with you. Written by Dave Perkins from the Toronto Star (btw, you can read this in it's original form if you likes click on the tagg of this Dinopost) what we find here is the story of jockey Sandy Hawley who got the stellar Dino-opportunity to plays golf with our Dino and how cool that Dinoexperience truly was. Sandy Hawley is about to learn the difference between a racehorse and a bicycle.
Canada's greatest thoroughbred racetracker, 10 years after retiring from a hall-of-fame riding career, is back in the saddle again and, so far, liking every minute of it.
Hawley, who is 59, is riding in a legends jockey race on Oct.18 at Santa Anita with seven other hall-of-famers as a prelude to the Breeders' Cup hubbub the following weekend. In preparation, Hawley is set to work a horse at Woodbine for trainer Mark Frostad Sunday morning, his first serious mount in a decade.
"We'll see if it's like riding a bicycle. I don't think I've forgotten, but this is going to be a test of the cardiovascular system and the legs, see if the legs are still there," said Hawley, who enjoys the idea that he'll breeze a horse alongside old rival Robin Platts, another former Woodbine star, who is an exercise rider these days.
"Two 59-year-olds. How good is that?" said Hawley, who answered a fraction of a second later than he should have when asked if he was considering a comeback. "No, I'm just enjoying this whole experience."
Hawley said six months ago, after his weight had ballooned to a whopping 122 pounds, he started working out. He got on a few horses at Windfields Farm, near his Oshawa home, just for some exercise, and said even that left him winded. Then came word Laffit Pincay Jr. was assembling this all-star jockeys race. Hawley was serious and so, he said, are Chris McCarron, Pat Day, Julie Krone, Jerry Bailey, Jacinto Vasquez, Angel Cordero Jr. and Gary Stevens. (Pincay is unable to ride because of the neck injury that ended his career.)
"There's already been a fair amount of trash-talking. Everyone is taking it kind of seriously. This is a betting race, for allowance horse, California-breds, so they'll be half-decent horses," Hawley said.
He is back down to 110 pounds, only two pounds above his prime riding weight and that prime of his included a few starring years on California tracks, including Santa Anita. Some 30 years ago, he was top jock there, ahead of Pincay and, on opening day one year at Hollywood Park he won five races, causing the L.A. Times, in a big bold headline the next day, to re-christen the joint Hawleywood Park.
"I had a lot of friends and great memories there. I'm looking forward to seeing some old friends. Plus, this is a chance for my sons, Bradley (16) and Russell (14) to get to see me ride. They don't remember me riding," said Hawley, who will be joined by wife Lisa and his sons for the experience, one he said could be repeated next year at L.A., New York and Woodbine if it's a hit this time.
One of those long-ago Hollywood connections was singer Dean Martin, with whom Hawley, a good golfer, once played Riviera Country Club. A horse owner had set it up, told Hawley to bring a jockey friend and his pal Martin would join as the fourth.
"Fantastic day," Hawley said. "I remember sitting around at the end, Dean Martin's having a drink and telling stories. I said, `Can we do this again.' They said, `Sure, next Monday, same time.'
"It turned out we had to race the next Monday and (the horse owner) didn't realize that. He and Martin were at the first tee waiting. We never showed up. I talked to him later and he told us Martin said, `Hey, where are those midgets?' They'd forgotten we had to race."
Martin is long gone now, maybe that owner, too. Hawley, though, however temporarily, is back.

CHANCES OF SEEING A COMMERCIAL DVD RELEASE: Not likely.
When you are told to think about 1950s film icons, several obvious choices come immediately to mind: Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Marlon Brando, Grace Kelly, even Elvis Presley (at least the films he made before he was drafted). Most people, however, don’t immediately call up Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. This is surprising, in a way, since Martin and Lewis were the most popular comedy stars of the first half of the decade – all of their films as a team were big box office hits.
However, none of their films were particularly good. Or at least time has not been kind to their output. What may have been considered hilarious more than a half-century ago seems stale and stagnant today. And that is a shame, since Martin and Lewis were genuinely funny. If you want to see why this duo were so popular, you need to dig up the kinescopes of their appearances on live television or speak with someone who saw their stage act (my mother saw them at New York’s Paramount Theatre and she can recall their inspired craziness). When performing live, Martin and Lewis were a manic, spontaneous burst of energy. But within the limiting confines of film production, their vibrancy was stifled by weak scripts.
The 1950 feature “At War With the Army” was the duo’s first starring vehicle – they has previously appeared in “My Friend Irma” (1949) and “My Friend Irma Goes West” (1950) in supporting parts. Yet “At War With the Army” was not designed as a Martin and Lewis comedy. Paramount Pictures owned the rights to James B. Allardice’s mild, minor Broadway play about life at a sleepy wartime military base and decided to shoehorn the comedy team into a film adaptation. The effort was awkward, with the play’s plot stopping and starting every now and then to accommodate seemingly irrelevant music and comedy moments that appears to belong in a completely different movie.
“At War With the Army” finds Martin as a sergeant and Lewis as a private – the lack of social equality between the two would become standard for their film output. But unlike their other films, this one has some different subplots. Martin’s character is actually fairly unlikeable, and at one point he attempts to ship another private overseas so he can grab the man’s girlfriend. Lewis also has his own romantic subplot involving a pregnant off-screen wife. I believe this is the only Martin and Lewis film where the Lewis character is established as a sexually active adult – he usually plays an epicene man-child.
The film is also unusual by giving Martin a fairly prominent role. By my calculation, he has equal screen time with Lewis, with most of it as a solo performer from his zany partner. One of the big problems with the Martin and Lewis film canon is the unfortunate misuse of Martin’s time and talents – whereas the act’s television and stage performances offered more balance and a higher degree of opportunity for Martin to show off his comic gifts, the pair’s films placed an exaggerated emphasis on Lewis. By the time the pair were on their last legs as a comedy act, Martin was little more than a supporting character in films where he was supposedly a headliner.
“At War with the Army” is basically a skein of barely-related incidents. Some moments stand out as genuinely entertaining: Lewis sneaks off the military base in drag and does a wonderfully hideous Marlene Dietrich imitation while vamping a brutally inebriated sergeant, Martin does a duet with a very young and very pretty Polly Bergen, Martin and Lewis engage in a wild tap dance routine during the base’s talent show (you’d be surprised what great dancers they were) and perform a stunningly effective imitation of Bing Crosby and Barry Fitzgerald from “Going My Way.”
But beyond that, there’s very little that could considered memorable. This is a typical Army film with the usual cliches: the tough but not-very-bright drill sergeant, the ethnic mix of rookies, the flustered officers and their humorless superiors, the air of seemingly endless incompetence, etc. Though “At War With the Army” has an interesting twist with the base commander’s wife having the insert dirt on military secrets before her husband.
There is one surprisingly tactless line, where Lewis bemoans Army life by proclaiming that “a concentration camp has got to be better than this.” Ah, little did he realize that “The Day the Clown Cried” was waiting two decades down the road for him!
For whatever reason, this film was highly popular. Martin and Lewis established themselves as box office stars with “At War With the Army” and they spent the next six years as the kings of the Paramount lot. Somehow or other, this film’s copyright was not renewed because it was technically not a Paramount production – it was created under the banner of the team’s York Pictures, which was already out of business when it was time to take care of the copyright renewal in 1977. As a result, “At War With the Army” has been a public domain title for more than three decades, and all copies that are in circulation today are bootlegged dupes. The film has been so extensively bootlegged that Paramount opted not to include a restored copy in its recent DVD collection of Martin and Lewis’ films (even though the company reportedly still possesses the original film materials that would make the film look good again).
But even if the film was digitally remastered, it wouldn’t make it any better – nor would it restore Martin and Lewis to iconic stature. Unlike fine wine, Martin and Lewis movies don’t get better with time. They’re actually like bad wine – they were never special to begin with!
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The unauthorized duplication and distribution of copyright-protected material, either for crass commercial purposes or profit-free shits and giggles, is not something that the entertainment industry appreciates. Is it true that Dean Martin was a boxer before be became an entertainer?
That’s correct, Jonah. Dino was a high school dropout who turned to boxing at the age of 15 in order to make ends meet. Unfortunately Martin didn’t have much of a feel for the sweet science and, as he recalls, he "won all but 11 of 12 fights." His brief time in the ring also left him with a broken nose, a permanently split lip and several sets of broken knuckles. Although his tenure as a professional pugilist was short-lived, Martin returned to boxing several years later when he moved to New York. According to legend, he and his roommate, Sonny King, used to cobble together rent money by charging friends a dollar each to watch them box in their living room. Comedian Denis Leary remembers talking to Martin about his amateur face-offs. “It’s classic. He said they’d get like 15 or 20 people a night,” Leary recalls. “That’s how they’d pay the rent. That’s old school.”

His Son Remembers
While there could be only one Dean Martin, his youngest son, Ricci, has put together a new and exciting show called "A Tribute to Dean Martin, His Son Remembers". In his show, Ricci takes you on a walk down memory lane, singing many of his father's hit songs like "Memories Are Made of This," "Volare," "That's Amore," "Houston," and "Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime," just to name a few.
There is also lots of humor in the style that made us all fall in love with Dean, and during certain musical segments there will be photos projected on a screen of Dean's family life, his Vegas performances and his hit television series, the "Dean Martin Show," featuring the biggest stars of the day. Some photos are so personal that no one has ever seen them outside of Dean's immediate family.
In a heartfelt, emotional segment of the show, Ricci tells the story of Dean and Jerry's break-up, along with a touching account of the loss of his brother Dean-Paul.
Also shown is an award winning music video that he directed in the '80s for MTV, featuring his father singing "Since I Met You Baby."
To add yet another dimension to the show, Ricci includes the audience in his tribute by stepping off the stage for a question and answer session, fielding questions about a very private Dean Martin as only his son could.
During the show's eight week run at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas, as well as it's nation wide tour this year, Dean's fans, young and old, had a rare opportunity to get to know Dean Martin as never before. The show was received with nightly standing ovations and attended by many show business luminaries including Frankie Avalon, Bill Medley (Righteous Brothers), Penn Jilette (Penn & Teller), Latino comic Paul Rodriguez, Desi and Lucie Arnaz, and others.

September 24, 1973 Dean's television show changes its name to "The Dean Martin Comedy Hour" and moves to Friday nights after eight years on Thursdays. The show features a "Roast of the Week," modeled after the popular Friars Club roasts, with Ronald Reagan as the first guest.

Everyone remembers the heyday of Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis, but how many of us remember the cheap imitation duo of Duke Mitchell and Sammy Petrillo? While Dino and Jerry got the radio shows, the magazine covers, and the hit movies, Mitchell and Petrillo got a co-starring role with Bela Lugosi...and a brutal battle with attacking alien forces. In the premiere issue of Love & Rockets: New Stories #1 (out this week and next in your more discerning bookstores and comic books shops), Gilbert Hernandez gives us "New Adventures of Duke and Sammy," and we've got a preview for you. Because who doesn't love comedy team knock-offs trapped on strange planets?
Snagged mid-concert and rocketed through space, Duke and Sammy end up on a strange alien planet (which compares not entirely unfavorably to Las Vegas), engage in some "eat or be eaten" slapstick, may or may not die once or twice, and (of course) gain superpowers.
Sadly, the superpowers don't hang around long enough to help our boys when they end up cheesing off the populace:

Rat Pack coming to be theaters?

Rat Pack coming to be theaters?
Frankie, Dean, Sammy and co may be heading back to the silver screen.
Iconic Crime writer Robert Randisi has sold the films rights to Everybody Kills Somebody Sometime to Sandy Hackett, son of the late comedian Buddy Hackett.
The novel features the legendary Rat Pack (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop) and is set in Vegas in 1960. The story centers around threatening letters that being sent to Dean Martin. The pack assisted by pit boss Eddie Gianelli, work to figure out who is sending them.
The novel is the first in a series, with the fourth being slated for 2009.
Sandy has appeared in handful of films and television series over the years, and recently started to work behind the camera as a producer. My own memory of him is as the MC of a wet t-shirt contest in Hot Dog: the movie.
Hackett also stars as Joey Bishop in the Vegas show The Rat Pack is Back.
It was through that show that Bob and Sandy became acquainted.
Bob: “I needed an opening for the third book, which is usually set in the present before we flashback to 1960's Vegas. I decided to have 80 year old Eddie attend a Rat Pack tribute show. I checked on the web to see which show might be the best and I found The Rat Pack is Back, the Vegas show Sandy Hackett writes and produces, in which he plays Joey. I emailed Sandy, who was on the road with the show in South Carolina. He got back to me and said he'd love to appear in the book. We spoke on the phone. I sent him the first two to read and he loved them. He decided he'd like to option the first book. It took some time to put together, but Sandy is as crazy about the Rat Pack as I am.”
When asked about the novel, Sandy said “In an original recipe of mystery, murder and intrigue so well that you could just as easy believe you were reading a historical account of events transpired”
He was equally generous with his praise when talking about Bob, “he is a bright guy,
and has a great sense of humor. If he wasn't a writer I imagine he would have gone into the clergy.”
Father Bob… that puts a rather interesting image in my head.
Randisi is the author of over 500 novels, as well as being the founder of the Private Eye Writers of America.
He has been hired to write the screenplay, something that will be a first for him.
The goal is to begin filming in January of 2010, which would be exactly 50 years after the book (Which takes place in Jan of 1960).

Hey pallies, likes I couldn't believe my Dinoeyes when I saw this very low price for the whole Dinoquartet of Matt Helm flicks...can you believe all 4 of these Dinoclassics for less then 14 bucks. No, no pallie has any more excuses for not addin' some of our Dino's greatest work to their Dinocollections... Buts, likes gotta admit I does have such mixed Dinoemotions 'bout these way low Dinoprice. Certainly our Dino is worths so much much more than this...I knows that when I heard that the Matt Helm flicks were gonna finally be Dinoreleased as a set, I was willin' to pay likes the real big Dinobucks to likes gets my hands on 'em...so this very low price does not truly reflect the value of our great man. But, on the other Dinohand, now no pallie...no matter how low their bread is, won't be able to grab this Dinoset for their very Dino-own.... Houston-Ike-ala Dean Martin
Hey pallies, likes I just knew this was gonna happen...when I heard that Ike was goin' to hit Houston...likes I just knew some dude who takes come shots of the effects of Ike and put 'em to our Dino's great classic "Houston." Ands here it is....so sorry for all the harm that Ike and other tropical storms have caused, but how cool that our Dino has been used to create this clip....in the midst of chaos and destruction....our Dino is such a soothin' and helpful Dinoforce for good.... My Dinofav Dinothin' 'Bout Silencers
Hey pallies, have been sendin' you off to other Dinoposts to enjoys the Dinopleasures of our Dino's Matt Helm caper "The Silencers." This Dinoclip (which was posted with our pallie Keith's totally stellar Dinoreview of this Dinoflick) contains my Dinofav Dinothin' 'bout this first of Dinoquartet of MH...nows some of you pallies are gonna laugh big Dinotime...but likes it is the Dinotrailer at the end of the film....and btw, at the end of this Dinoclip, which is promotin' MH #2, "Murder's Row." Our Dino Sings "It Had To Be You"
Hey pallies, I loves the Dino DVD "That's Amore" sharin' clips of our great man singin' some of his greatest songs from his stellar Dinoshow. Each and every Dinotune on this DVD is just so Dinoamazin'...'cause of course our Dino is the most amazin' dude to ever enter our planet. However, I does think that this Dinoclip of our Dino singin' the classic love song "It Had To Be You" is my supreme Dinofav of the whole Dinobunch....I loves not only hearin' our Dino sing this ballad with such Dinoconviction, but I also loves the way our Dino uses his body..his hands...ands the ever present smoke in his hands and all his facial expressions to really sell this song...and likes I do think for all true lovers of our Dino...for all true Dinoholics we can say without any Dinodoubt that for us "It has to be you"..."Dino you are IT for us." Hey pallies, likes when you think of labor day you just gotta think of the MDA telethon with the jer. 2008 is the 43rd annual Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon to be held on Labor Day weekend. I had Dinohoped to share the 1976 clip of the reuniting of our Dino and the kid durin' the telethon...but it appears no clip of that is currently available on the net.
