....... but the thing about Bryan Ferry was always the voice, that voice, slightly slurred, a touch of velvet filtered through a thousand cigarettes, a nod to Dean Martin.

Hey pallies, likes we are once 'gain proudly pleased to share yet 'nother of today's mighty musical artists who have given a noteworthy "nod" to our most beloved Dino.  Likes yester-Dino-day our pallies at google Dino-'lerts sent us off to the online presence of the free Irish newspaper tagged "NEWSFOUR," where Mr. Eoin Meegan (pictured on the left) swankly scribed a review of a recent live performance of "lounge lizard" Mr. Bryan Ferry's groovy gig at the Trinity College Summer Series in Dublin.

Meegan's powerfully potent post, "Ferry Rocks Dublin sez 'bout Bryan and his swingin' style.......
"but the thing about Bryan Ferry was always the voice, that voice, slightly slurred, a touch of velvet filtered through a thousand cigarettes, a nod to Dean Martin. He has a way of communicating a song like you were the only person in the audience."  If that don't sweetly sound likes deeper then deep Dino-emulation, we don't know what does pallies.  Likes we checks out youtube and youse can find a ton of vids showcasin' Mr. Ferry's tremendous talents in singin' to decide for yourselves.

We thanks Mr. Eoin Meegan and the pallies at "NEWSFOUR" for these wonderful words 'bout Irish artist Mr. Bryan Ferry and likes, of course, a remarkable reference to our one and only DINO!  To checks this out in it's original source, and likes to read it in total, per usual, simply clicks on the tag of this Dino-gram.

Ferry Rocks Dublin

By Eoin Meegan

A welcome innovation in Dublin this summer was the Trinity College Summer Series which included such headline acts as Imelda May and Grace Jones. But without doubt the main attraction of the series was the Friday night sellout gig by one time Roxy front man and solo artist Bryan Ferry.

The lounge lizard didn’t disappoint and for the entire 90 minutes he was on stage he belted out a string of hits and Ferry classics. When it comes to transmitting intimacy Ferry is hard to beat. A great songwriter and musician, and one time experimental electronic pop maestro but the thing about Bryan Ferry was always the voice, that voice, slightly slurred, a touch of velvet filtered through a thousand cigarettes, a nod to Dean Martin. He has a way of communicating a song like you were the only person in the audience.

For decades, I have referred to our Dino's singing voice as "that velvet voice." So seductive when our Dino sings a love song.
