Two Kings of Cool Dealing a Loaded Gun of Fun- So Good, It's Criminal!
Hey pallies, likes today we begins with a tender, touchin' testimonal 'bout the transformin' power of our Dino, followed by noteworthy news of a delightful Dino-discovery we made while combin' the ol' net. Likes, the link between these two portions of prose is our recentin' post, "Dean Martin - Live at Westchester Music Theatre in New York 1977.
First to the Dino-testimonal. If youse have been followin' the recent Dino-action here at ilovedinomartin youse will know that it was our own Miss AOW who put us on to the youtube vid of our most beloved Dino's portion of his May 1977 live concert with his main pallie Mr. Frank Sinatra at the Westchester Music Theatre in Tarrytown, New York. Well, in the purely potent patter that she left followin' our postin' of said vid, our Miss AOW left her most heart-felt comments that we know will also touch Dino-hearts all 'round the universe....."As you know, I've been very ill since June. It's only the last few weeks that I've been able to explore for Dino finds. When I happen upon a find such as this one, my health improves. Our Dino is healing magic!" We have absolute appreciation for Miss AOW so openin'ly speakin' of how our Dino is awesomely aidin' in her healin' process.
Now, to the noteworthy news of our recent Dino-discovery. In our correspondance back and forth over email 'bout the timin' of sharin' Miss AOW's Dino-vid discovery, she expressed to us her concern that "I hope that the video stays put on YouTube." Likes, we all knows how videos of all sorts come and go on the youtube sight, and we are sure that all of you, likes us, have been deeply deeply disappointed when a great Dino-vid has been removed from viewin'. And, likes indeed we don't know how long Miss AOW's discovery will remain up at youtube.
So, her is the noteworthy news that we are sure will delight Miss AOW and Dino-holics every-Dino-where! While doin' more searchin' via google for information on the historic concerts that our Dino and Mr. Sinatra shared in Tarrytown in May of 1977 we happened upon a blog pad tagged "STRANGER IN TOWN" where Mr. Rich Buckland holds forth. What we discovered actually are two posts that Mr. Buckland put up on September 9, 2013 and February 10, 2014 that appear, between 'em to include every recorded moment of video of the " Live at Westchester Music Theatre in New York 1977." Likes what makes this such greatly grand news is that these vids will mostly be
permanently posted to Mr. Buckland's site. So pallies likes Miss AOW and the rest of us Dino-philes will be able to grooves on these historic Dino-croons for the long haul!!!!!!
Likes we probably never ever would have come 'cross these Dino-treasures ourselves if Miss AOW hadn't done some Dino-homework to find a portion of the concert up on youtube. We will be presentin' the vids in two parts, today sharin' the first portion of over 33 glorious minutes of our Dino and Mr. Sinatra's swank sets of croons, and tomorrow the rest of the concert that includes a ton of swingin' patter between our Dino and Mr. Sinatra followed by a series of croons they do back and forth with each other that runs over 16 more minutes.
Below is the patter that Mr. Buckland shared with the video, notin' "Our Very Special Thanks To The Late Greg Garrison - Feb. 20, '24 – Mar. 25, '05," who produced the video that was shot durin' one of the live concerts. We are pleased as punch that the "STRANGER IN TOWN" pad allowed us to download the vid in all it's glory. And, likes if youse simply clicks on the tag of this here Dino-gram you will goes to Buckland's pad and see it in all it's glory.
We remain,
Yours in Dino,
Dino Martin Peters
