Partyin' with our Dino at his "Dino's Lodge"

Hey pallies, today's Dino-post comes courtesy of our pallie Jesse at the blog "Just A Car Guy." A few before Dino-winter-day Jesse left me a comment here at ilovedinomartin that he had a Dino-pix to share with me and I was so so delighted when he filed me this delightful pix taken at our Dino's restaurant, "Dino's Lodge."

Woulda loves to know some Dino-details 'bout the story behind this candid...looks likes our great man was throwin' a great bash at his food pad...and loves how some dude did a bit of their own Dino-art with one of the menus...

ilovedinomartin sez our thanks to our car guy pallie Jesse for puttin' us on to this outstandin' Dino-photo. To view Jesse's blog, likes just clicks on the tag of this Dino-gram.

A long while back, when Mr. AOW and I were visiting his relatives in Southern California, we drove by Dino's Lodge. Never went in, however, **sigh**

I think that Dino's Lodge is gone now. **sigh again**

I wonder who all are hiding behind some of those menus?

I looked up Dino's Lodge and found the following information:

The old TV show "77 Sunset Strip" featured shots of "Dino's Lodge" each week. Dino's was real, located then at 8524 Sunset (west of La Cienega Boulevard and east of Londonderry Drive). Alas, the lodge no longer exists, and 8524 Sunset is now simply part of a large, nondescript office building, next door to the Tiffany Theatre (8532 Sunset).
