Sunday Serenade with Dino: "Carolina In The Morning"

Hey pallies, likes this week's Dino-serenade is comin' ats you a wee bit early 'cause I ain't certain that I'll be 'round these Dino-parts tomorrow and didn't want to have 'nother week goes by with our serenadin' you with a classic Dino-croon!

'Nothin' could be finer then listenin' to our Dino smoothly croonin' a southern melody. Likes thoughts it would make perfect Dino-sense to feature a south of the Mason-Dixon line Dino-classic for this weeks Dino-serenade since we just put the accent on a post featurin' our Dino's al-b-um "Swingin' Down Under."

What our Dino led me to is this very classy black and white live clip of our Dino singin' "Carolina In The Morning" supported by the Dick Stabiles Orchestra.

While our Dino is renowned for singin' Italiano amore, he does an amazin' job with this Dixieland standard....indeed our Dino is pure Italian stallion, but his laid-back easy goin' style makes him perfect as the charmin' southern gentleman of amore as well. Our Dino's drawl lends itself perfectly to "Down Under" tunes likes "Carolina."

Watch as our Dino nuances each and every phrase of "Carolina"...and loves, loves, loves pallies how our Dino hugs the microphone as if it was his dancin' partner.

So enjoys our Dino singin' him some south...just goes to again show that everythin' our Dino does, he does with his own uniquely warm and intimate style...and to likes, of course, Dino-perfection! Dino-swingin', DMP

"Carolina In The Morning"

Walter Donaldson - Gus Kahn

Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina in the morning
No one could be sweeter than my sweetie when I meet her in the morning
Where the morning glories twine around the door
Whispering pretty stories I long to hear once more
Strolling with my girlie where the dew is pearly early in the morning
Butterflies all flutter up and kiss each buttercup at dawning
If I had Aladdin's lamp for only a day
I'd make a wish and here's what I'd say
Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina in the morning.

Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina in the AM
Carolina in the morning.
