Among other obvious thins'... of course...this month is to REALLY soak in that Dino vibe. REALLY listen to what he is tellin' us... & REALLY follow in his GREAT GREAT footsteps.

Well...I thinks it's been 'nough time since we had an EXTRA special Serenade. How's 'bout a wee bit o "Duetin' with Dino"?!

Thinks we could ALL use some "EXTRA SPECIALNESS" rights 'bout now! 

Seems to me...there's really only ONE jam that TOTALLY gets this month swingin'! And...there's only TWO cool cool cats that can swing on it together! Of course I is referrin' to "Marshmallow World" by Dean & Frank! 

Likes no other duet known to man has ever entertained the masses SO SO feverishly, pals! Haha!! 

Now I know it STILL isn't very marshmallowy out there, yet...& I ain't complainin'...but there is rumblins' of a few possible flakes today...& besides...what better way to ring in Dino-Winter Month?!

The Christmas lights! 

The gift givin' & receivin'! 

Obviously, the tunes! I loves it ALL! 

Every Crazy Chaotic nuance of December is such fun to me...I just can't help but to thinks of Dino! He's all 'round us this time of year! The markets...the malls...the radio & on T.V.! It's positively INVIGORATIN'...hearin' & seein' our main dude... in all this Christmassy abundance! Haha!! 

Now, as our fearless leader, DMP, would say..."Youse just don't know WHERE Dino will pop up next!" And as our great great friend, Ms. AOW, commented a few years back..."He still seems so alive!" It's true, pallies! 

It's actually hard to believe he's been gone all these years! Just goes to show...once 'gain...that legends like Dean, never disappear. Never fade away. He will ALWAYS be with us, mi amici! Just like anyone who really mattered in our lives...Dino will live, through us, forever!

REALLY makes me appreciate the MANY MANY ways I've been blessed. Yup...he's my main man, pallies!

Now, my little Dino-diggin' grave diggers...speakin' of thins' that go bump in the night...Every year I cants' help but picturin' our main man dressin' up as the creepy Count himself! Yes, pals! He's definitely gots the right look for it. Tall, Dark & Devilishly handsome. Definitely gots the suave coolness for it. And  AB SO LUTE LY would have NO problemo pickin' up vampy-type chicks for his vampy-type brides! Hahaha!!!

Our Great leader, DMP, gave me the invitation & I jumped at the opportunity! 

Seriously cants' even believe I've had the privilege of doin' them for 12 WON DER FUL years now! I TRULY wants' to express how much I enjoy writin' my deep deep thoughts 'bout life... through the eyes of a Dino-holic… Haha... & at the same time...spreadin' the Dino-message! I very humbly thank youse for your weekly interest in my insanity! 

Haha!! 

Now, pallies...let's get to this week's Serenade! 

So, October is DEF I NATE LY one of my FAVE months of the whole entire year, pals. This is a fact. 

But...I'm thinkin'...some of youse may still be in "Seasonal shock" & goin' through Summer withdrawals! The Fall kinda crept up on us this year. Therefore, pals o' mine...I thinks' I is gonna keep thins' REAL mellow & O so soothin'! 

Thinks I got just what youse need. 

It's calm...it's tranquil...it's...well...IT"S PURE DINO!!! Haha!

Man o man... I gots to admit it...I become TRULY nutty this spooky kooky time of year, pals! I cants' help it! I just LOVE the decorations, the scary movies, the ghosts & goblins...you name it! If it's Halloweeny...I'm diggin' it! Hahaha!!!

So, mi amici...I was havin' a bit of a problem comin' up with the perfecto tune for the first Sunday Serenade of this Cooly Creepy month. 

I wanted to incorporate the eerie scariness... with our numero uno GHOULISH' crooner! WOW...that was a mouth full! Haha!!  Anyways, pals...I musta summoned the ghost of Dean himself...'cause all of a sudden... it hit me! "Blue Moon"! 

I just looked out my window last night & there it was! A gloriously...devlishly...Dino-fied Harvest moon! Half covered by clouds & glowin' like a giant lightbulb. 

Now, I don't know 'bout youse...But I can't thinks' of ANYTHIN' that gives me more of a thrill... & a FUN FUN chill... than a BIG...BRIGHT...lunar vision...on a COOL COOL October night! Haha!! I LOVES it, pallies!

Yup...its that time of year, my friends. Time to hunker down & turn the Dino up! 

I'm thinkin' if we can gets' 'nough Dino-tunes flowin' this nippy weather season...we should be able to keep that "warm & fuzzy" glow uh-glowin' right through to Spring! 

Now, palsies, are youse with me?!?!?! Yay! I just knew I could count on ALL my fellow Disciples of Dean, out there! 

OK...so here's what we is gonna do. Seein' how Saturday is the last day of September...& creepy spooky October is comin' up next...I thinks we should EASE into the cool cool days headin' our ways, with a "nice n' easy" Dino-tune. How's 'bout somethin' off Dean's "The Dean Martin TV Show" vinyl masterpiece? Yes!

I knows of a jam that will relax us right into this fantastic frenzy of foliage headin' our way, mi amici! 

This week's Serenade, "Baby Won't You Please Come Home?", is just what the doctor ordered! It's calm & soothin' & is SURE to light the fires that will keep us warm. 

Now , I don't know 'bout youse guys...but I'm gonna go pour me some of that "Fall supply" vino...& heat this beautiful mornin' up! I is feelin' a little chill in the air. Haha!!

 Well well well...Here we are...once 'gain, my friends...windin' down our Sunday Serenades of Summer. 

Man! Time TRULY does fly! 

We biddin' a due to 'nother BEA U TI FUL sunny season & lookin' ahead to cooler breezes & shorter days.  

Hope youse JAM-PACKED these last few months with Summer fun & ALL THINS' DINO! Haha!! I'm sure youse did, pals. We're Dino-holics...that's what we do! Ha! 

Hard to believe, just the same. 

Time to trade in the pool swimmin' & sun-bakin' for apple pickin' & leaf-rakin'! Rakin'...Yuck! Haha!! 

Only a week or so left...& Autumn will be sneakin' in. Catches us when we leasts expects it!  We'll be ready though, pallies! We gonna store as MUCH summery memories as possible...keeps ALL those SWINGIN' Dino-tunes in mind... create a "go-to" section in our brains that will be  COM PLETE LY STUFFED with warm Dino thoughts! Ha! 

Dino-tunes & cookouts... Dino-tunes & fireworks... Dino-tunes & walks on the beach...O...did I mention the tunes? Yea...I did. Haha!! 

Well, mi amici...seems pretty obvious to me...that there's only ONE very special croon that can keep ALL these very special memories simmerin' on low...'til next year. 

"The Things We Did Last Summer", will be that life-line we can reach for when thins' get a wee bit too tough to bare...when the chilly weather seems to be hangin' 'round a little too long...when we find ourselves longin' for a sunny day & a yummy drink in the shade! 

Yea, pals...we'll be just fine. Just keep those hot Summer days in mind...& Dean is NEVER too far behind!

 Welcome back, all my hard workin' amici! 

Happy Labor Day Weekend! 

Happy September, too! 

Today feels like a GREAT day to catch our breaths. Don't it?  It's a day to chill out...have a drink...& just relax! 

Monday's day off is a time to honor ALL the GREAT GREAT folks who work every day & do their part to contribute to this GREAT GREAT country of ours! Youse keep the machine runnin', pallies! 

Now...we ALL have our job to do, my friends. From police & firemen & women...to bartenders...to stay-at-home moms & dads. Each one is important & is worthy of praise. 

Well, pals...I can think of a VERY VERY COOL COOL HARD WORKIN' fella...goes by the name "Dino". This was one laborin' kinda guy, my friends! Sure, he made it look it easy. But...Dean was one of the BUSIEST cats in the entertainment world, pallies! From performin' live & recordin' albums...to makin' movies & doin' TV shows...He was some kinda work-aholic! Haha!! 

People can say that he was lazy & only played golf...but WE knows the facts, mi amici! 

I have one more VERY special somebody in mind today, pals. Mama mia. My mom. Mama G.! It's her birthday today! Yay, Mom! 

She was/is ALWAYS there for ol' Danny G., even when I was actin' like a fool! Haha!! Which was quite often, pals! Hahaha!!!

It's sure to bring a happy thought of Mama G. & is a cool cool jam to relax to on this chilled-out kind of day. Not to mention...it's ALSO leadin' us...slowly...towards a SPOOKY Halloweeny vibe!

Well, here we are, pallies...the tail end of August. Man o man...where do the days go?! Even months fly by like weeks! 

Hey, pals...if I gots to be honest though...Summer is hot & fun & I really dig the beach goin'...BUT...I'm kinda anticipatin' the Fall season! As youse all know...I AB SO LUTE LY love that "spooky" vibe in the air! Haha! We'll gets more into that stuff soon. 

Hey pallies...I'm not sure if the end of the month is bringin' some swingin' & singin' at some jammin' cook outs or movin' boxes into some college dorm room. Either way, pals...I know thins' might get a wee bit hectic. I'm bettin' we could ALL use a little serenity.  

For today's Serenade, thinks' I'm gonna ask our BESTEST pal, Dean, to start windin' this Summery season down with some COOL COOL & VERY laid back croonin'. "Fools Rush In' should set the Dino-mood so so PER FEC TO! 

Real mellow & calmin', pals. 

What I love 'bout this particular jam is it's tellin' of throwin' it all against the rocks...to be with a very special someone. Sensible or not...right or wrong. Now THAT's passion! Haha!! Man o' man, pallies...I better chill out, here! This is supposed to relax me! Haha!! 

Now, this tune has been sung many many times by many many singers, pallies. But...NO ONE & I mean NO ONE can turn it into PURE PURE tranquility likes our pal!

Home sweet home. 

To us, Dino-diggers...anyway. 

A home away from home & a place to hang our hats...at day's end. A quick stop...just to chill & collect our thoughts. Soak in the good & the "not so good thins'", that the day has shown. 

Maybe...just a place to clear your minds & listen to some cool cool Dino-jams. 

I'm hopin' that's what ilovedinomartin.com & the Sunday Serenades with Dino are to ALL the lovers of Dino out there. I know it is for me, mi amici. 

I thinks we ALL can use a place like that. Youse 'gree, pals? Just a comfy little spot to relax & catch our breaths. Yup...sounds good to me. 

How lucky we are, my friends...to have Dino & a place like this, to call "Home". Our own place. Away from the world's chaos. To just drift...& let life's stress melt away. Just for a moment or two. 

So, my friends...as we is grilling' & chillin' our way through Summer...let's think 'bout the nice peaceful times...that Dean brings our way. Every day. Every week. Every year.

 Buon Giorno, pals! 

Welcome back! 

Ahhh...that GREAT GREAT time of year is here, mi amici! Italian food...Happy people...Dancin' kiddies...& more Dino than youse can absorb in just one FANTASTICO weekend! 

Yup...youse guessed it...It's "Italian Festival"  season, here in good ol' New England! 

That bloody virus brought thins' to a screaming' halt for awhile, pallies. But...they is back! 

Man o man...I just can't thinks of a more PERFECTO way to celebrate these summery days...than to soak up these SWINGIN' SINGIN' vibes...down at the local festival with all my Dino-lovin', neighborhood pals! My paisani! 

OK...I better chill with the "Italian" thin'. It's makin' me wanna pour up the vino...& it's only 8:00am!!! Haha!! 

Can't help myself, pals! It's just such a WON DER FUL feelin' in the air. It's a time to forget life's troubles. A time to 'member what's REALLY important. Put the negative stuff on the back burner...just for a moment...& soak in the GOOD thins'! 

I know it isn't always easy, pallies...we ALL have troubles to deal with. But...I thinks I can help! 

I have a tune that is GUA RAN TEED to get youse floatin'! Thinkin' happy thoughts & gettin' that Pep back in your Step! Ha! 

Now, pals...when I thinks 'bout these FUN FUN festivals...the one thin' that seems to wrap the whole ball of Dino...food...music...& smilin' faces, up...is the Merry-Go-Round! " La Giostra"! 

It takes us back to years LONG gone by, my friends. 

Spinnin' round & round...catchin' a glimpse of certain faces as we twirl to the sounds of Dean's SMOOTH SMOOTH voice. 

Ahhhh...what a time it was! 

I think we could ALL use a spin! 

Today's Serenade, "La Giostra" is definitely one of my Summertime faves & I'm SO SO happy to FINALLY be able to share it...here at our AWESOM little blog...with ALL my AWESOME fellow Dino-diggin' paisani! 

The festivals are back & Dino is in the air once more!

 Hey pallies...what's new & excitin'?! 

Haha!! My ol' boss used to asked me that EVERY mornin'. Used to crack me up…'cause back in those days...there were ALWAYS new & excitin' thins' happenin'! ALL the time! Hahaha!!! 

Oh well, mi amici...it's all part of bein' young & carefree, I suppose. Not a worry in the world. Just good times.  

Nothin' better than that feelin', pals. Peace of mind is priceless. 

What we ALL need to do...is hold onto that youthful vibe...always! 

Or...we can try to get it back!
