Also On This Date In Dino-history: July 11, 1946
Hey pallies, likes just discovered that in addition to this bein' the day in 1964 that our most beloved Dino's most beloved croon, "Everybody Loves Somebody" broke into the top 40 charts for the first time, it is also the day in 1946......68----count -em----68 years 'go that our great man recorded his first four songs!
From the musical blog, "VVN Music - Vintage Vinyl News" comes this historic of historic Dino-news. Doin' a bit of researchin' from the annual of ilovedinomartin we can tell youse that "At his first recording session, Dean Martin records the tracks “Which Way Did My Heart Go?”, “All of Me”, “I Got the Sun in the Morning” and “The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi” for Diamond Records whose offices were located in The Brill Building in New York City. (See post of July 11, 2012).
