It just started & I'm already ‘fraid of it slippin' through my Dino-diggin' fingers! Haha!! I thinks its 'cause Spring was kinda damp this year...SO SO much damn rain! 

Oh well, pals...we'll hold onto these long, muggy days...extra tight! 

OK, pallies...let's gets to some tunes! 

I'm thinkin' this is the PER FEC TO time to kick off the season with one of Dean's FUN FUN "Latin type" tunes, mi amici. Just the way we likes it...REAL bouncy!  GREAT way to keep our "The Month Coolness Came To Earth" vibe flowin' too! 

Now who says "Summer fun" better than Dino? No one! He's the party-master! Ha! 

Well...I guess the best place to start is ALWAYS one of my FAVE summery Dino-al b ums..."Cha Cha De Amor". I think there's an extra "Cha" in the song title actually. Haha...whatever. Yes, pals...this little vinyl Frisbee is JAM-PACKED with HOT HOT & yet VERY VERY COOL Dino-tunes.

 Welcome back, Ol' friends o' mine! 

So So happy youse dropped by!  

First of all I wanna wish  "Happy Daddy-O Day 2023" to ALL the swingin' Dino-lovin' dad's out there!

 Man! What a COOL COOL thin' it is, pals... to be able to celebrate all the COOL COOL fathers & father figures in our lives...right in the midst of "The Month Coolness Came to Earth"!! Truly a special time of year, my friends. 

A BEA U TI FUL Spring day is perfecto to honor Dino & ALL these GREAT fellas, who mean/meant SO SO much! 

Now pallies...as youse may know by now...I pick a Special Serenade every year for today's tune. A jam that brings me back to my youngest days of Dino-dom. A familiar song that reminds me of my Dad & keeps him in my thoughts everyday. Well, as I always do...I reach for a specific kind of Dino al b um. A real blue-collar sound. Yup...my Pop was BIG into those Dino "trucker" jams! Haha!! The "C.B. radio" type tunes. A jam 'bout some down & out dude...tryin' to make his way back home or maybe some carefree fella just enjoyin' the simple life. 

Yea...those were his faves. Still cracks me up thinkin' 'bout him singin' along to these songs! He thought they were SO SO cool & I thought HE was SO SO cool for knowin' the words! Hahaha!!! What a GREAT guy Dad was! Great memories, pallies. 

Today's SPECIAL SERENADE takes me ALL the way back to the mid-70's! Man! Where'd that decade go?!

So, pallies, how's June treatin' youse so far? 

Pretty damn well here in ol' Massachusetts! 

Mornins' & evenins' a little chilly, but I cants complain a bit, my friends. The days are BEA U TI FUL! Amen to that! 

So as Spring is slowly slippin' through my fingers...I just gots to thinkin' 'bout what the Summer will hold. Plenty of hot & humid days for sure. Some beachin' & poolin', obviously. But what else? Knowin' myself...not too much! Haha!! Nah. I'm more of a chill out kinda fella. 

Probably the way our bestest pal, Dino was. 

We all read how he was more than happy just relaxin' on a golf course or watchin' TV at home. Yup, that was Dean...& that is me. 

I know...I know...I'm always lookin' for any & every little similarity 'tween Dino & myself. Haha!! But, hey! Why not?! Who better to compare to & model after? Am I right, pallies? DEFINATELY. 

And guess what else? When I'm chillin' & doin' ab so lute ly nothin'...I'm actually...usually...thinkin' 'bout this crazy life. Yea, that's me too. 

Well, pals...just so happens...that as i'm ponderin' those days & years gone by...Dean seems to be in just 'bout every thought. The background music to my life. The people I've known. The places I've gone. They all seem to somehow have Dino attached. 

What can I say, my friends? He's my main man! Haha!! 

He's my pal & my inspiration. 

A connectin' energy that links it ALL together. 

Today's Serenade..."I Love You, For Sentimental Reasons"...is one of those Dino-jams that goes through my thoughts all the time. Perfect background to my memories & PERFECTO to take me back to those GREAT GREAT easy goin' days.

 Hey pals...welcome back, & welcome to 'nother "Month Coolness Came to Earth"! 

Man o man, I am just SO SO pumped! 

Can't even believe our pal amongst pals is turnin' 106, this comin' Wednesday! 

Don't forget to checks out all your local classic TV channels! I'm SURE they will be rockin' Dino flicks all damn day! Haha!! 

Man...What a time we've had, huh, pals? Day after day & year after year...Dino has been an ever present companion for us all. He's my "Cumpare". My friend. Swingin' through life with me. My ups, my downs. Side by side & never even a worry that he would hit splitsville. 

It might be hard to believe or even understand, to many...but to we "Dino-holics"...it's as simple & natural as olives in a martini. That's just the way it is! 

Dean is our pal. Like family, really. The COOL uncle who shows up for every party, weddin', or cook out. And when he does...MAN...what a time it is! The room wakes up! Dance floors are flooded like the party just started! 

Dino just has that effect on us. He equals FUN & GREAT TIMES! 

Now pals...I could go on & on 'bout what Dean means to me & how much happiness he's brought to my life. But...I think youse knows EXACTLY what I'm talkin' 'bout. He brings his spirit to us all.  

On June 7th, 1917...God sent us a gift. A gift that TRULY keeps on givin'. We were the lucky ones, mi amici. Most of us, anyway, can say we walked the Earth at the same time as he did. 

Now, to me...that's VERY cool! 

Of course, Dino's music & movies...TV shows & live performances, will be 'round forever, but...it's OUR generations that were here WITH him! VERY cool, indeed.

Past & present...we owe them a special prayer. 

It's ALSO a day to appreciate those PERSONAL heroes who make, or made, our lives better. Moms, Dads, family & friends...Anyone who helps us through. They too deserve praise! 

After all, mi amici...MANY sacrifices have been made to help us gets where we is! 

I can thinks of MANY today, who help/helped me, in some way, live a better life!

 Man o man, palsies...What a simply BEA U TI FUL mornin'! 

A big blue, Sunny sky & a soft, cool cool breeze flowin' through my window. Yup! I actually have my window open! Finally! Pollen or not! 

Cants' get me 'nough quiet & peaceful moments like this, pals. 

Life is usually pretty hectic for Danny G. All of us, I'm sure. 

These couple hours I gets to grab...every now & then...are EXACTLY what the doctor ordered! Early mornin'. Everyone's asleep. All but Dean & me, that is. Haha!! 

We all need some "chill out" time, my friends. Keeps us sane! Haha!! 

Now...no one knew this better than our numero uno paisano, Dino! Whether he was smackin' 'round a few golf balls...enjoyin' some pasta fagioli with a special friend...or just relaxin' at home watchin' a western...Dean knew how to chill!  

Well, ol' pallies o' mine...we is SO SO fortunato...that Dino has laid the blueprints for us, to do the same exact chillin'! Yup! 

Let me gives youse just one little example, pals. 

I'm grabbing' us a little "If Love Is Good To Me", for today's O' So Soothin' Serenade. This is 'nother one of Dino's "simple living'" kinda jams.

After all, pals...Spring IS the season of amore! Agree? Yea...no doubt.

So So glad youse stopped by...on this rainy little Spring mornin'. 

Hope everyone is in good spirits & TOTALLY absorbin' this TRULY magical combination of April & Dino croons! Such a great time of year, pals! The Easter vibe continues! 

Hey, pallies...just 'cause the that big bunny packed up his colored eggs, & split town...that don't mean the "Eastery" scene is over! No No No! This is the TRUE beginnin' of "New Years" to this fella, & I plans on keepin' it rollin' right up to we is singin' in the Summery sunshine! Ha! 

Well, pallies o' mine...just as I expected...I'm bein' lured back to Dean's COOL COOL al b um of Parisian song..."French Style". Yes, my friends...I thinks I'll hang 'round this vinyl work of art, just a little bit longer. These drizzly days & this record just seem to pull me in. They set the Springtime stage. One compliments the other, I think. 

So, my fellow Dino-holics...who better than our main dude, Dean...to make a cloudy day shine...& how better than with a little "The Last Time I Saw Paris"?! 

This is EXACTLY the serenadin' we need to REALLY keep the vibe of this AWESOME season rollin', my friends!

Been a BEA U TI FUL one, so far. At least 'round these parts. 

We actually got hit with some 90's this week! Today is gonna be sunny & 70's Tomorrow is still "to be determined". Haha!! 

That's why I loves this season. So full of surprise! Actually, a better word is Crazy, Haha!! Hey, mi amici...it's ALL good though. We is TRULY blessed! Every mornin' I thank God for Spring & Dino! Haha!!

For today's Serenade...Dino is gonna take us on a little trip. We're jumpin' on a big ol' bird...& flyin' over to a city that is also known for it's Springs...Paris. 

Known as a place for romance...I'm sure our pal, Dino, was a frequent visitor. Ha!  

Ahhhhh...what a romantico place it must be, though, huh pals? Forget the rain...forget the cloudy days...it's time for passion! 

Well, if anyone would know romance...it's our man of the world...Dino! He was DEF I NATE LY a world traveler & DEF I NATE LY a master of L.O.V.E.! 

I found "April In Paris" on his 1962 Reprise al b um..."French Style". What a perfecto tune for this wonderful time of year! This vinyl masterpiece is a GREAT GREAT collection of some of Dean's MOST BEA U TI FUL songs! 

I'm diggin' each & every one of these jams, with Dino's accentin' on the language of love! Haha!! 

Hey let's face it, pallies...Dino can spread the message of "amore" no matter WHAT language he's croonin' & WHAT weather he's in, swoonin'!

Yea...I know...I'm a day early. BUT…man o man, mi amici...doesn't it feel GREAT to say?! 

So, pallies...what's shakin', on this SUNNY March day? Hopefully not youse! Haha!! Hopefully not chilly weather. 

We is startin' a weeklong stretch of BEA U TI FUL days 'round here, pallies. 

No problemo, either way though, my friends. It's SPRING!!! Don't matter if it's warm 'nough. Don't matter if rainin' or blizzardin'! Your ol' pallie, Danny G., DEF I NATE LY ain't complainin'!!  

For me...as I've been sayin'...it's a state of mind, mi amici. For me...there simply ain't NO better time of year than Spring! 

It’s a time of new beginnins'! A chance to start fresh! Hey, pals...I can ALWAYS use a fresh start! Haha!! 

Snow is gone...for now anyway. Birds are slowly startin' to sing! I’m even seein’ some flowers sproutin'! Man o man , my friends...I cants' help but get SO SO 'cited!!!

Spring is only a week away!!! Parrrr-tayyy! Haha!! 

But...dare I ask...how's the weather? 

Well, here...anyways...it's nice one day...bloody freezin' the next! Haha!! I ain't complainin' though pallies! Told youse...Spring is a state of mind. And don't forget, pals...it IS only March. Comes in like a lion, goes out like a lamb. Somethin' like that, I thinks. Comes in like a shot of booze, goes out like a glass of vino, maybe. Either way, mi amici...Winter ain't QUITE over yet. BUT...AGAIN...it is MARCH! Parrr-tayyy! Hahaha!!! 

Man o' man! I'm in a crazy mood today! 

OK...OK...let's me calm down a wee bit. 

Now...this month basically means two thins' to me, pals. 1) Spring is on it's way! & 2) CRAZY weather! Let's concentrate on the Spring part. 

To keep us on track, for the BEA U TI FUL days headin' our way...I decided on a pretty little tune, that I heard the other day, for today's Serenade.  

I know youse gonna completely MELT into this one, mi amici! Hopefully will gets the icy days meltin' too! 

"My Heart Reminds Me" will remind ALL us Dino-holics what our great great pal was originally known for...the MOST beautiful & romantico Italian croonin' to ever make it's way to the masses! Ha! These cold & frosty days don't stands a chance with this tune, pals!
