Well, here we are, pallies...Labor Day weekend. 

Man o man...where do the days go?! 

Even months fly by like weeks! 

Hey, pals...if I gots to be honest though...Summer is hot & fun & I really dig the beach goin'...BUT...I'm kinda anticipatin' the Fall season! As youse all know...I AB SO LUTE LY love that "spooky" vibe in the air! Haha! 

We'll gets more into that stuff soon. 

Hey pallies...I'm not sure if the beginnin' of September is bringin' some swingin' & singin' at some jammin' cook outs or hustlin' & bustlin', movin' boxes into some college dorm room...but I do knows' thins' might get a wee bit hectic. Let's do this Labor Day, Dino-style...& chill out a wee bit! 

I'm bettin' we could ALL use a little serenity.  

For today's Serenade, thinks' I'm gonna ask our BESTEST pal, Dean, to start windin' this Summery season down with some COOL COOL & VERY laid back croonin'.

Man...it's gonna be September soon! Crazy how the days go by. Hey...guess what?! No problem! We're still partyin' with our pallie! 

Summer ain't over yet, my friends! We gots PLENTY of HOT HOT days ahead! 

Simply add a little Dino-croonin' to the mix...& thins' will keep on SIZZLIN'!  

Anyways, pals o' mine...I is gonna play a tune that I plucked off of Dean's 1973 al b um... "Sittin' On Top Of The World". Actually, pallies... I heard it a couple days ago...while cruisin' 'round...just mindin' my own business. Haha!!

Now let me tell youse, mi amici...soon as I heard this number...I was INSTANTLY put in a GREAT mood & found myself smilin' from ear to ear! Haha!! I'm serious, pals! It had that effect on me!

SO SO much fun listenin' to a "1970's Dino" doin' his thin' on this cool cool number! Thinks I'll put it on REPEAT! Now THAT is what Summer is ALL 'bout!

A home away from home & a place to hang our hats...at day's end. A quick stop...just to chill & collect our thoughts. Soak in the good & the "not so good thins'", that the day has shown. 

Maybe...just a place to clear your minds & listen to some cool cool Dino-jams. 

I'm hopin' that's what ilovedinomartin.com & the Sunday Serenades with Dino are to ALL the lovers of Dino out there. I know it is for me, mi amici. 

I thinks we ALL can use a place like that. Youse 'gree, pals? Just a comfy little spot to relax & catch our breaths.

I don't likes to squawk...'cause it hasn't been too bad these last few days...and before we knows it the days will be growin' shorter & much cooler...but man, pallies...it get's bloody HOT!!! 

Not to mention my AC is down for the count! Ugh!

So...palsies o' mine...youse know how I ALWAYS says that Dino's "French Style" al b um, just seems to go SO SO well with the Springtime season? Well, my friends...it just so happens that our bestest of best bro, Dino, also has us a swingin' piece o' vinyl that is simply PER FEC TO for the hot & humid...sweaty & sultry, dog days o' Summer!

 Well, say there, pals! 

What it is! What it was! What it might have been! Haha!! 

Man...I thinks this crazy world has finally gots to me! I've found myself babblin'...on & on...incoherently...all week! Hahaha!!! 

Maybe my brain is gettin' a wee bit toasted, pals! Actually...PICKLED would be more appropriate! Ha! 

OK...'nough foolishness. Let's talk a little bit 'bout what WAS & let's get to the Dino-tunes! 

Now, pallies...I simply HAD to use this week's COOL COOL Dino-jam for today's Serenade! It's for a sad event that I thinks 'bout & share, here at our Dino-blog, every year. Tomorrow, August 4th, marks the very unpleasant anniversary of the passin' of a very special lady...a very special girl-pallie of our Dino's. Marilyn Monroe.  

It's been 63 years since she took her final bow. 

Shame, pals. Was a fun & talented young soul. 

But...I believe in celebratin' what WAS...rather than cryin' over what WASN'T. 

"Buttercup A Golden Hair" is set to her & our pals flick, that never came to be..."Something's Got to Give". It featured Dino alongside a very lovely & naked Marilyn! Haha!! Fresh! 

Looks like it would have been a FUN FUN Dino-flick for sure! Such a shame it just wasn't meant to be, my friends. They both looked so good in this vid & youse could see the chemistry & friendship they shared. Bittersweet to watch, pallies. 

BUT...let's be thankful for what's we got's, pals! A Great Great tune & vid that's PERFECTO for a Great Great Summer night!
