Good day pallies! I have another Dino-pic to share today. This is a from the Jefferson County Museum, a candid picture of what looks to be Dino and his mother scurrying through the parade traffic in downtown Steubenville.
It's a wonderful picture that captures the energy of the hectic day when Dino came back to Steubenville.
This is one of my favorites, and I hope you enjoy!

They were so proud of their hometown son!
Is that Dino's first wife with him is this photo?
VERY cool, Ed! I also love these candid shots. Thanks for bringin' to the blog, pallie!
I agree Danny, I love candid photos!
Hey pallie, likes Eddie-o...does our Dino-hearts proud to see our most beloved Dino with his beloved mama! Keeps lovin' 'n sharin' our one, our only Dino!
Any info as to when this photo was taken?
I think it has to be the Parade he came for back in the early 1950's..
Hi AOW!
Are you thinking this might be Betty?
Ed,
If the early 1950's, then neither of the women is Betty.
The women standing more or less in front of Dino is definitely Dino's mother, IMO. Look at her hat and purse, both indicative of her being several years older than Betty would have been.
I wonder who the little boy is.
If I recall correctly, Dino returned only once to Steubenville after he went big in show biz. Jerry was with him. I'm guessing that Jerry is just out of sight on the right and that the other woman in the photo is Jerry's wife.
Check out this collage of photos. There's Dino with his Jeanne, and Jerry with his wife in the photo at the upper right of the collage.
Amazing photo! I can't wait to see more photos of Steubenville and of Dino if you have more.
Yes I think so too. Dean & Jerry were back just once for this type of parade.
Not sure who the boy is. I did once niw the dates, so I need to go back and check. Jeannie was at there at the parade also, I have a pic with her in the car with Dino.
That collage is nice, never seen some of those before!
Glad you like Mabel, more to come!
