So, below are a couple of perfect poses of our most beloved Dino while playin' at the Sands Hotel in 'Vegas baby 'Vegas.  The first is of our main man with his main pallie Mr. Frank Sinatra, and the second is part of the same pose with only our Dino.  While we have posted the first impressive image of our Dino more than once here at ilovedinomartin, we don't ever remember knowin' that this coolest of cool candid was shot by none other then Mr. Sammy Davis, Jr.

 Photographed by Sammy Davis, Jr.

The Rat Pack was a group of actors originally centered on their leader, Humphrey Bogart, until his death in 1957. By the 1960s it was the name used by the press and the general public to refer to a later variation of the group that called itself "the Summit" or "the Clan," featuring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop; they appeared together on stage and in films in the early 1960s, including the movies Ocean's 11, Sergeants 3, and Robin and the 7 Hoods (in the last film, Bing Crosby replaced Lawford). Sinatra, Martin, and Davis were regarded as the group's lead members.

On This Day In Dino-history: April 25, 1973

Kathy
Hey pallies, likes we take a tinny weeny break from our 10 part Dino-poster series 'cause it was 43 years ago today, April 25, 1973 that our most beloved Dino marched himself down the aisle a third time and promised to love, honour, and cherish his youthful bride, Miss Catherine Mae Hawn.    As you look at the stellar weddin' poses, you can certainly certainly see how very very  much our Dino and Miss Cathy were in amore. Unfortunately our Dino's marriage to wife numero 3 lasted less then 3 years.

Permit us to share a couple of details 'bout the wedding.  The flowers alone cost a cool 85 thou, and our ever generous Dino gave his best man, Mr. Frank Sinatra, the gift of a solid gold cigarette lighter inscribed with his appreciato, "Fuck you very much."

Below is a pix of our Dino on his weddin' night with three of his daughters, Deana, Claudia, and Gina.  Don't our Dino looks so so dashin' with his girlpallies by his side?!?!?!?!

Likes below the pix are some more  details of the weddin'.  Likes come back tomorrow when we return with part 7 of our ten part Dino-poster series of potent posts.  Dino-rememberin', DMP

Danny G's Sunday Serenade with Dino: "I Wish You Love"

"I wish you bluebirds in the Spring, to give your heart a song to sing."
 Man...that says it ALL, pals.
Dino wishing us somethin' as BEA U TI FUL as that REALLY says a lot to me.
It's one of the simplest thoughts in the world...peaceful...tranquil even!
 But, man o man...it's great!
It tells us that the smallest thins' in this world can be the BIGGEST treasures!
Dosen't need to come from a fancy store or a sparklin' showroom.
It comes from our heart & soul, my friends.
Some of the GREATEST joys in my life & MOSTEST specialist moments have been quiet & calm.
No fantastico party...no over-the-top celebration...just a sunny day with a special friend or a relaxin' night with some Dino & vino flowin'!

That's the good stuff, pallies.

So for the last Serenade of this WON DER FUL month...as we say "So-long" to April 2016...let's keep those "easy, breazy days" in mind.
Their what REALLY matter, mi amici.

"I Wish You Love" is EXACTLY the way I want to slide into May!
Laid back & chillin'...& DEF IN ATE LY  O so cool! Haha!!
Yes, pals o mine...let Dean's soothin' voice guide youse to serenity! Ha!
Enjoy!

I wish you bluebirds in the spring
To give your heart a song to sing
And then a kiss
But more than this
I wish you love

And in July a lemonade
To cool you in some leafy glade
I wish you health
And more than wealth
I wish you love

My breaking heart and I agree
That you and I could never be
So with my best, my very best
I set you free

I wish you shelter from the storm
A cozy fire to keep you warm
But most of all
When snowflakes fall
I wish you love

I wish you shelter from the storm
A cozy fire to keep you warm
But most of all
When snowflakes fall
I wish you love
I wish you love
I wish you love.

MATT HELM (1966-1968) - DEAN MARTIN MOVIE POSTERS (Part 1/10)
As we explore the rat Pack members all this month, this is the time to turn the spotlight onDEAN MARTIN who is the only one who had three distinct stars on the Hollywood Walk Of fame for his tirple successful career: Actor, Singer and TV Host). However it is his filmography which we are briefly surveying on this 10 part Blog. An impressive list which can be divided into 5 categories: His 16 movies with Jerry Lewis (part 2), his Westerns (Part 2, 5, 7 and 10), Romantic comedies (Part 4, 6 and 9) and Drama (Part 8).
Yet my favorite movies of his remain the 4 films he produced and acted in between 1966 and 1968 as Super Agent Matt Helm, fantastic spoofs on The James Bond. Directed by Henry Levin and Phil Karlson, they mix great action, humor, ultra cool designs and the nets list of female stars ever: Ann-MargretSenta BergerCyd CharisseNancy KwanDaliah Lavi,Elke SommerStella Stevens and Sharon Tate. The death of the latter in 1968 was so hard on Martin that he cancelled the planned 5th episode titled The Ravagers.
Above are the rare US half sheet combo poster for Murderers’ Row and The Silencers (painted by Robert McGinnis) with on second row the US one sheets for the Silencers and The Ambushers as well as the Danish poster for Murderers’ Row (the last two also designed by Robert McGinnis) followed by 3 French Grande movie posters and 3 Japanese posters.
