Actor forever, but comedian first. His films with Jerry Lewis made a difference in the magical world of filmmaking. But, did much more. His own show for American television, a lot of films starring in more serious productions, performances as a singer, his performances as a comedian in theaters, among others.They called artistically Dean Martin and it was a big cinema. The glorious matinees and continued in local cinemas had him as a top attraction. And in the premiere productions with John Wayne, Burt Lancaster, George Kennedy, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Bing Crosby, Anita Ekberg, Shirley MacLaine, Cliff Robertson, filled the long room in each function. The screen and the music immortalized.

Dino Paul Crocetti is the real name of Dean Martin, born June 7, 1917 in Steubenville, Ohio, United pageStates.He went through many occupations before becoming celluloid figure and tv: It was labor, taxi driver, boxer and even professional football player. He began his career as a singer in night clubs and in 1946, in Atlantic City, he met Jerry Lewis, who until 1956 formed professional couple, immediately reaching one of the biggest events of the story in the film industry.The duo, with Dean providing seductive, warm voice, with its romantic, obtained an extraordinary public success, both in their live performances, as in cinema and TV stations. When 10 years and 16 films later Dean and Jerry are separated, few believed that Martin could face a solo career, but flourished and appeared in the sixties in several feature-length films with Sinatra and his "clan", showing his qualities starring filmmakers led by the likes of Vincente Minnelli - "Some Came Running", 1958 - Howard Hawks - "Rio Bravo", 1959 - and Billy Wilder - "Kissing a Fool", 1964. Despite his initial interest in obtaining money by conventional routes, soon began to earn a living through occupations rather less orthodox. Encouraged by some friends, he decided to cultivate boxing, winning several awards at welterweight bouts. The pseudonym used by the future artist, Kid Crochet, gives an idea of what his specialty was pugilistic. By that time, the 1929 crisis jerked the foundations of the U.S. economy and quashed the chances of Martin in the sports world. The smuggling of liquor then seemed lucrative enough activity, and devoted himself to it for a certain period. Tweaking the mischief so characteristic of the stages of crisis, the young also devoted to card games and betting. I used to frequent the poker games and related practices in the environment of carnivals, whose tents were often covert real casinos. In 1934, in a casual way, Martin left one of those games to get on stage and sing a ballad. To the surprise of all present, the boy showed a splendid vocal qualities. LIGHTING SHOW ON NBC
In 1965, Dean Martin is hired by NBC and becomes the host of his own television show was called The Dean Martin Show. This variety show began airing on September 16, 1965. In 1973, after eight seasons on the grid, The Dean Martin Show was losing audience, so chain managers decided to give a new star and considered introducing weight to give more strength to the project, and attract viewers . The March 21, 1987, Dean's son, Dino, died in a plane crash on the San Gorgonio Mountains, California.The loss was irreparable, being a blow to the whole family. Dean went into a deep depression from which he would never recover. Dean Martin passed away at 78 years of age, December 25, 1995, at his mansion located in Beverly Hills, California, as a result of advanced lung cancer. He was charismatic and talented rogue.

SHOW DE LUMINARIASEN NBC
En 1965, Dean Martin es contratado por la NBC y se convierte en el anfitrión de su propio programa de televisión que recibió el nombre de The Dean Martin Show. Este show de variedades comenzó a emitirse el 16 de septiembre de 1965. En 1973, tras ocho temporadas en la grilla, The Dean Martin Show iba perdiendo audiencia, por lo que los directores de la cadena decidieron darle un nuevo aire y pensaron en introducir estrellas de peso para darle más fuerza al proyecto, y atraer a los espectadores. Sin embargo tampoco funcionó y el espacio fue cancelado. La NBC, en lugar de dar el tema por terminado, quiso seguir explotando la popularidad de su estrella, por lo que retomó la idea de entrevistar a grandes figuras y firmó con Dean Martin para que rodara una serie de especiales. .UN GOLPE DUROE
l 21 de marzo de 1987, el hijo de Dean, Dino, falleció en un accidente aéreo sobre las montañas de San Gorgonio, California. La pérdida fue irreparable, siendo un duro golpe para toda la familia. Dean entró en una profunda depresión de la que nunca llegaría a recuperarse. Dean Martin dejó de existir a los 78 años de edad, el 25 de diciembre de 1995, en su mansión ubicada en Beverly Hills, California, como consecuencia de un avanzado cáncer de pulmón. Fue carismático, pícaro y talentoso.
