Initial releases include restored editions of The Colgate Comedy Hour, starring Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis

Hey pallies, likes today's Dino-post coulda be fantastic news for all true Dino-holics. Accordin' to the web pad "World Screen" and writer Miss Kristin Brzoznowski, STM Etertainment, purveyor of many classic TV shows, has inked an agreement with Inception Media Group to distribute "restored editions" of many of their holdings.

Among the "restored editions" of TV classics slated for fall release are "The Colgate Comedy Hour, starring Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis." If this means that the entire catalog of the Martin and Lewis Colgates are bein' restored as full programmes includin' musical selections...that will be extemely excitin' news for all us devotees of our great man.

Dino-philes have been waitin' forever for such Dino-releases. But, likes pallies with the disappointin' results of the recent release of the Time-Life Dino-discs of the Best Of The Dean Martin Show, one has to wonder if the Colgates will suffer the same kind of cuttin' and pastin' that the Dino-shows have received.

Anyway dudes, likes we can all hold our hopes up high that indeed these "restored editions" of the Colgates will be pristinely primo releases of full episodes. Inception Media Group Inks Output Deal with SFM

SANTA MONICA: Inception Media Group has firmed up a multi-year output agreement with SFM Entertainment that includes the worldwide home-video and digital distribution rights to classic TV titles from the distributor.


Among the programs included in the SFM catalogue are shows from the Jerry Lewis and Flip Wilson libraries. Initial releases include restored editions of The Colgate Comedy Hour, starring Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis; The Jazz Singer, a 1959 live NBC broadcast starring Lewis; the complete The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp classic TV series, starring Hugh O'Brian; and the entire series The Real McCoys, starring Richard Crenna and Walter Brennan. The first set of new releases will be out this fall.

“Our agreement with Inception Media Group furthers our ability to bring some of the best classic television programming to consumers around the world,” said Stanley Moger, the president and CEO of SFM Entertainment. “We are looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Inception’s dedicated and proven team.”

“Stan and SFM have an incredible catalogue of television entertainment, and Inception will be bringing many of these titles to physical and digital retailers around the world,” added Andy Reimer, co-partner of Inception Media Group. “Consumers continue to build their libraries of classic television content and, together with SFM, we will offer many of the finest broadcast programs from the past.”
