Today's Dino-gram is 'nother audio recordin' from WGN where Mr. Dave Plier is interviewin' Mr.Steve Darnall, publisher and editor of Nostalgia Digest magazine. In the prose scribed by Mr. Curtis Koch (pictured on the right) tagged, "Nostalgia Digest’s Spring Edition with Steve Darnall: The Legacy of Martin & Lewis," we learn that in it's 45 year history the mag Nostalgia Digest had never ever featured our main man and his partner in crazy comedy on their cover, but are coolly correctin' that omission in their new spring 2019 edition. Youse can see a potent pix of that cover below at the end of this post.
The audio interview between Plier and Darnall covers a bit of the history of Martin and Lewis' radio programmes as well as includes a brief audio of their first radio programme and Darnall speaks of the feature article 'bout Martin and Lewis on radio in the Spring 2019 edition of Nostalgia Digest scribed by Mr. Michael J. Hayde, who recently released the terrific tome, "Side By Side: Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis On TV and Radio."
Likes how absolutely thrillin' it is to learn that the Dino-message continues to be spread by radio as well as print and we sez our thank you very much to the pallies at WGN, particularly Mr. Dave Plier and to Mr. Steve Darnall of Nostalgia Digest. The Martin and Lewis portion of the interview begins 'bout 1:30 and ends 'bout 12:00.
