50 years ago, 1964: Dean Martin was the guest star-host of "The Hollywood Palace" a television variety spectacular. On the bill were Britain's sensational singing group The Rolling Stones, the King Sisters, and Bertha the Elephant and her daughter Tina.
Great Dino-intro from our pal. What an honor for The Stones to have The King of Cool welcome them to the stage! Fun gifs!

ReplyDeleteTalk about a classic moment in music history, Dean and The Rolling Stones. What a great combination and it is amazing how young everyone looks. It really is hard to believe TRS are still out there performing today. I wonder what there thoughts on Dean and that performance are today. A great post as always DMP.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
