Hey pallies, likes on a much much more happy note, it was also on this day, March 21, in the year of our Dino, 1964 that  our most beloved Dino  graciously consented to have his hand prints  and footprints coolly cemented at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Likes truly truly we are never ever in better beau-ti-ful  hands then when we place ourselves in our Dino's. When we finally gets to take our Dino-pilgrimage west, we most certainly will wanna be able to place our hands where Dino placed his and place our feet where Dino placed his and feel most moved by the marvelous magic of bein' where our Dino has been.

ilovedinomartin likes  thanks Mr. Bob Dearborn  at his  blog, "The Olde Disc Jockey's Almanac" for remindin' the universe this very Dino-day of this remarkable event in the life and times of our most beloved Dino.  To checks this out in it's original site, simply clicks on the tag of this here Dino-report.

We are totally totally thrilled to be able to share the incredible image at the top of this post showin'  our Dino and fam Martin on this awesomely amazin' occasion.  Seein' how hugely happy our Dino is surrounded by his boy and girl pallies and wife Jeanne brings the greatest of joy to our Dino-hearts.  And to see the most lovin' look of pride on Dino Jr's face on his Dino daddy-o bein' coolly celebrated in this way is certainly bittersweet knowin' the fate that awaited in exactly 23 years later.

We Remain,

Yours in Dino,

Dino Martin Peters

  5. DMP,
I had the advantage that my in-laws lived in Southern California until very recently. In fact, for a number of years, my mother-in-law lived on Hollywood Boulevard -- about two blocks from Grauman's Chinese Theater.
