“Take good care of my teeth and make them look good,” Dean’s family dentist, old Dr. V. J. DeLuca, remembered Dean saying as a kid. “When I get big, I’m going to be an entertainer.”
-- Nick Tosches, “Dino: Living High in the Dirty Business of Dreams”
I notice that Dino's right ear looks like it's bumpy. It's what boxers used to call 'Cauliflower ears' from getting punched so many times in the boxing ring. Have you ever noticed this before, and do you have a better photo of that ear? By the way, thanks for the great blog on Dean Martin.
ReplyDeleteDean always answered to a higher power only! I bet he knew he was destined for greatness!
ReplyDeleteNo one has a better smile or teeth then Dean, it would seem he knew from the beginning he was going places. A great read DMP, thank you.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
