Hello again pals o mine! Gots a great little tune for youse this week! This one comes from the 1961 romantic-comedy of the same name, "All In A Night's Work".
Our great man stars along side one of his honorary Rat Packers, Shirley MacLaine. Haven't seen it in awhile but I do remember it bein' a very enjoyable & funny flick. But then again...I loves anythin' thats Dean Martin! Pull up a chair and pour yourself a drink! This swingin' number gets cookin'! Enjoy pals!
All In A Night's Work
When Paul Revere went riding while the stars were burning bright
It was all it was all it was all in a night's work
When Edison stayed up so late he finally saw the light
It was all it was all it was all in a night's work
And when a girl and fellow get underneath that moon
It's not a long shot you can bet on something happening soon
So when they ask me just how come I came up winning you
Though it took hours of flowers and the wining and dining and telephone calls to get the pot to perk
I smile and say it was all in a night's work
It was all it was all it was all in a night's work
It was all it was all it was all in a night's work
And when a girl and fellow get underneath that moon
It's not a long shot you can bet on something happening soon
So when they ask me just how come I came up winning you
Though it took hours of flowers and the wining and dining and telephone calls to get the pot to perk
I smile and say it was all in a night's work
All in a night's work
Another great Dino tune I haven't heard in a while. Love it!
