The season for ponderin' our blessins', mi amici! Ponderin' our lives! Ponderin'...MR. DEAN MARTIN! Haha!! 

Yes...it's true, ol' Dino-diggin' friends o mines...I'm serious! I thinks bout' ALL the different ways Dino helps me ALL year long, & I am SO SO greatful! Makes EVERYDAY SO SO much brighter! SO SO much funner! SO SO much more meaningful to me! REALLY makes me appreciate the MANY MANY ways I've been blessed. Yup...he's my main man, pallies! 

Anyways, mi amici...I thinks I'll kick off this Cool Cool holiday seasonal Serenade with my usual Cool Cool "pre-holiday" seasonal Dino-jam! "Canadian Sunset". It just gets me in the right frame of mind, for what's headin' our way! ...CHAOS!!! Hahaha!!! Just kiddin' , pals.

Time to gather with family & friends & celebrate all that is good in our lives. 

Time to start the blowin' & rakin', too! Ugh. DEF I NATE LY not one of my fave outdoor activities! Haha!! O well, mi amici. Least we got our main man, Dean, to bring along! 

Won't be so bad with some cool cool...Fall type Dino-tunes...flowin' in my ear. Youse know the kind I mean...dont'cha, pals? Well...let me pick us a jam to get that flow started. 

Hmmmm. Maybe I could jump back to "The Dean Martin Show" al b um. That one never leaves my turntable, it seems.

Holidays are creepin' up!

Actually, pals...it's been...dare I say it..."Spring-like", 'round here lately! 70's! Even 80's!!! Yea, it's been crazy. Well, I ain't complainin', mi amici. I'll take it! But still...it's definately Fall. Leaves are now brown, crunchy messes & everything is goin' into hybernatin'mode. Maybe a few of us might be feelin' those "Change of Season Blues"!

Vampires, Werewolves & all the creatures of the night are gettin' ready to get down at the closest Monstery Bash! Haha!! 

Now, my little Dino-diggin' grave diggers...speakin' of thins' that go bump in the night...Every year as I gets into all the scary movies playin'...I simply cants' help but picturin' our main man, Dino, dressin' up as the creepy Count himself!

He's definitely gots the right look for it.

Whataya' say?! 

Welcome back, one & all! 

Man...this kooky spooky month is sure feelin' CRAZY! I swear to youse...the older I get...the crazier life seems to me! 

Am I nuts?! 

Yea...probably, pallies. Haha!! 

Oh well...seems that way to me…I mean no more Christopher Columbus parade, pals?! What's that all 'bout?!

Now, friends o' mine...I ALWAYS believe in includin' one & all. These parades are for everyone! Celebratin' our awesome country...how lucky we is to be here...& who led the way. That's it. No need to go any deeper than that...in my opinion, anyway. 

Well, pals...likes I said...life is feelin' crazy these days. 

Anyways…they actually started an "Italian Heritage Parade & Festival", in it's place. It was last week & was even better, so whatever, Haha!  

So...with that bein' said...I know some of my fellow paisani might be feelin' a little upset, pushed aside & longin' for a Dino-jam that is LOTS O" FUN & may have an Italiano type flair. 

Somethin' we can ALL jam to together. 

I'm thinkin' that's I is gonna get one of those "quick quick" kinda jams playin' today. Youse know...to keep the blood pumpin'.  A real upbeat tempo sorta Serenade for the week! Anyways, it was a GREAT time & I HIGHLY rec-o-mends youse Googlin' the show to see if they is still 'round & comin' to your locale. 

So, mi amici...this week's tune simply HAS to include the WHOLE Pack! Yup...Frank & the Sam man jump in on this one...& REALLY makes it swing! 

"We Open in Venice" reminded me of that fun fun show & will DEFINATELY stick in your head all day, my friends. Its catchy chorus really pulls youse in!

These are GREAT GREAT times for throwin' in the ol' ipod headphones...gettin' outdoors...& spendin' some quality time...with Dino! Yes, my friends...DINO! Who else is the BEST companion for cleanin' up yards & packin' up the patio?! 

He relaxes my soul & cleanses my brain. Turns work into fun & chores into play.

 Well well well...Here we are...once 'gain, my friends...kickin' off a NEW & 'CITIN' Autumny season! 

Man! Time TRULY does fly! 

We biddin' a due to 'nother BEA U TI FUL...hot & sunny Summer & lookin' ahead to an equally BEA U TI FUL...cooler & calmer Fall! 

Yes, we will have plenty of chilly breezes & quickly movin' towards shorter days. But guess what, pallies o' mine...It's all good to me! It's a GLORIOUS time o' year! 

But, just the same, mi amici...hope youse JAM-PACKED these last few months with ALL THINS' Summertime-DINO! I'm sure youse did. We're Dino-holics...that's what we do! Haha!! 

So, it looks like It's time for your ol' pal, Danny G., to trade in the pool swimmin' & sun-bakin' for apple pickin' & leaf-rakin'! Hahaha!!! I'm ready though, pallies! I stored as much Summery memories as I possiblly could...Stockpiled my cupboards with crushed tomatoes & vino...& most importantly...I created a SWINGIN' little "go-to" section in my brain that is COM PLETE LY STUFFED with Hot & Sunny Dino-vibes! 

Yup...Dino-tunes & cookouts... Dino-tunes & fireworks... Dino-tunes & walks on the beach...O...did I mention the Dino-tunes? Yea...I did. Haha!! 

Well, mi amici...seems pretty obvious to me & my fellow Dino-holic, Danny G's daughter, Stella G.,...that there's only ONE very special croon that can keep ALL these very special & sunny memories simmerin' on low...'til next year. "The Things We Did Last Summer". 

It will be that "life-line" we can reach for when thins' get a wee bit too tough to bare! When the chilly weather seems to be hangin' 'round just a little too long...when we find ourselves longin' for a sunny day & a yummy drink in the shade!

Now let me tell youse, mi amici...soon as I heard this number...I was INSTANTLY put in a GREAT mood & found myself smilin' from ear to ear! Haha!! I'm serious, pals! It had that effect on me!

A home away from home & a place to hang our hats...at day's end. A quick stop...just to chill & collect our thoughts. Soak in the good & the "not so good thins'", that the day has shown. 

Maybe...just a place to clear your minds & listen to some cool cool Dino-jams.

Man! Relief! The heat is finally lettin' up 'round my neck o' the woods! 

Not a minute too soon either, mi amici! I felt like I've been meltin'! 

I don't likes to squawk...'cause I know some spots are MUCH worse than my 90s...but man o man, pallies...it's been bloody HOT!!! Haha!!  Anyways...thins' is coolin' off. For the time bein', at least. 

So...palsies o' mine...youse know how I ALWAYS says that Dino's "French Style" al b um, just seems to go SO SO well with the Springtime season? Well, my friends...it just so happens that our bestest of best bro, Dino, also has us a swingin' piece o' vinyl that is simply PER FEC TO for the hot & humid...sweaty & sultry, dog days o' Summer! Yup! Let's me introduce youse to yet 'nother one of Danny G's FAVE o' FAVES al b ums for these lazy days & balmy nights..."Dino Latino"! Amen! Hahaha!!!

I swear to youse...on all that is Holy...Dean must've put these COOL COOL recordins' together...with these HOT HOT months in mind! Youse gots to try it out for yourselves, mi amici!

Man...I thinks this crazy world has finally gots to me! I've found myself babblin'...on & on...incoherently...all week! Hahaha!!! 

Maybe my brain is gettin' a wee bit toasted, pals! Haha!! 

Actually...PICKLED would be more appropriate! Ha! 

OK...'nough foolishness. Let's talk a little bit 'bout what WAS & let's get to the Dino-tunes! 

Now, pallies...I simply HAD to use this week's COOL COOL Dino-jam for today's Serenade! It's for a sad event that I thinks 'bout & share, here at our Dino-blog, every year. 

Today, August 4th, marks the very unpleasant anniversary of the passin' of a very special lady...a very special girl-pallie of our Dino's. Marilyn Monroe.  

It's been 62 years since she took her final bow. Shame, pals. Was a fun & talented young soul. 

But...I believe in celebratin' what WAS...rather than cryin' over what WASN'T. 

"Buttercup A Golden Hair" is set to her & our pals flick, that never came to be..."Something's Got to Give". It featured Dino alongside a very lovely & naked Marilyn! Haha!! Fresh! 

Looks like it would have been a FUN FUN Dino-flick for sure! Such a shame it just wasn't meant to be, my friends. They both looked so good in this vid & youse could see the chemistry & friendship they shared. Bittersweet to watch, pallies. 

BUT...let's be thankful for what's we got's, pals! A Great Great tune & vid that's PERFECTO for a Great Great Summer night!

The gods have come together to create this one, pallies! Marina + Silencers = TOTAL SUMMERTIME FUN!!! 

Dino is lookin' GREAT & being funny & silly as ever in this! Haha!! 

Just his facial expressions alone get me rollin'! LOL!!!
