 Well, pallies...here we are. 

'Nother Dino-Winter Month is windin' down. 

What a crazy time it's been, huh pals? 

'Nother Dino-Departure Day has passed, as well. What a special, yet bittersweet, anniversary. 

Man...25 years have flown by. 

I 'member exactly where I was when I heard the news...Dino passed. Ugh. Felt empty. Like I just lost a friend I had known all my life, but hadn't seen for a long while. 

Oh well. That's how it works, mi amici. Souls come & go. Some just leave more of an impression. 

I've been PERMANENTLY scarred...in a good way...by our pal, Dean. 

Never to be the same...& never regrettin' a second. 

Dino has helped mold me into the crazy, silly fella I am! Haha!! That's a GREAT thin', pallies! Proud to say that Dino inspires me everyday! 

Let's move forward... into the new year... with Dean in mind... always proud to be who we are, pals o mine! Dino-holics! Haha!! 

Today's tune, "A Winter Romance", kinda sums it all up & is a perfecto end to Dino-Winter Month Sunday Serenades 2020. 

We ALL have a romance with Dino...in a way. He's my pal, my mentor & my inspiration. That's a kinda romance. Maybe a Bro-mance! Hahaha!!! Whateva' youse wanna call it...he's my man! 

Let's leave the month & year off knowin' that this comin' year will be BETTER!

Danny G's SPECIAL Dino-Departure Day Serenade: "Silent Night/Peace On Earth"

 Hey there, pallies. 

Well...we made it. Welcome to Winter 2020. 

Man...just cants' believe 'nother Christmas is here. 

Seems so far away, then all of a sudden...here it is. 

'Nother important day is here, also. Dino-Departure Day. 

It crept up as well, pals. 

'Nother year since we lost our main man, Dino.  That's a tough one to say, pals. Truly hurts me. 

But...what makes thins' a little bit easier on my heart...is bein' part of this GREAT GREAT blog...'specially today. Gives me a chance to share a little piece of myself & my thoughts 'bout Dean. What he's meant to me throughout my life.  

Today...although we is reminded 'bout what we've lost...& we are ALL surely missin' our fearless leader, Dino Martin Peters, we also think 'bout what we still have! Life is GOOD! Dino keeps it that way! Crazy, yes. Upside down...Definately! But, good. 

So, pals...we will spread good will to others & share positive thoughts. Let's not sulk & be blue. Let's celebrate!  Let's 'member all the good stuff that made Dino...Dino!  Fun...Happy...Foolish...& OH SO VERY Cool! Haha!! 

To be thought 'bout...every once in awhile...Swoonin' & Croonin'...makin' people smile! Yup...THAT'S how I'm guessin' he would dig thins' the most!   

What a great great time of year to REALLY get in touch with your inner Dino, too, my friends! Just soak in his vibe & spread it all 'round! 

I'm so so thrilled today...to be able to play one of the ab so lute BESTEST of the BEST Christmas tunes... by the ab so lute BESTEST of the BEST Christmas crooners! 

The song I've chosen, for this VERY special Dino-Departure Day Serenade, maybe my fave...DEF I NATE LY  HAS to be..."Silent Night/Peace on Earth".  

How could I NOT pick this BEA U TI FUL tune? 

With the 25nd anniversary of Dean's big exit...I NEED to play a song FILLED with true, pure Dino-passion! 

Don't know 'bout youse pallies...but this tune REALLY moves me! So So softly POWERFUL & So So gently SOOTHIN' to my soul. 

It takes me to a calm...cool place... where we is ALL forever young & Dean is ALWAYS & FOREVER present'.

 Welcome back, pals! How's it swingin'? 

I mean your Dino-Winter Month, of course! 

Hope youse is absorbin' as much of Dean's Christmasy croonin' as humanly possible, pallies. We only gots eleven more chilly nights...'til it's all over! 

Man! These December days REALLY seem to shoot by! Waaaaaaa!!! 

Gonna miss all these holiday Dino-tunes!!! Waaaaaa!!! 

What's a Dino-Winter Month-aholic to do, pallies?! Waaaaa!!! Waaaaa!!! 

Hey....wait just a croonin' Dino-minute, (sniff sniff)!!! I ALMOST forgot (sniff sniff)!!! The only thin' that happens...is(sniff)...Dino-Winter Month simply transitions into Dino-Winter SEASON!!! YES!!! Our fearless leader, DMP,  has been callin' it this all along! 

So basically..."Christmassy" Dino-jams simply & naturally evolve into "Wintery" Dino- jams! Sounds good to me, mi amici! Whew! Feelin' MUCH better now, mi amici! 

Don't knows why I forget this progression, every year. Either I is gettin' old or sippin' on too many martinis lately! Haha!! 

So, my friends...relax. Dean's snowy tunes will keep us on ice 'til the first signs of Spring! Hallelujah!!! What a guy! He'd NEVER abandon us right smack in the middle of this crazy & chilly season! 

Actually, as my "dear" old Uncle reminded me...Winter hasn't even officially started yet! We still gots PLENTY of time for these type o' tunes!  

Anyways, pallies...speakin' 'bout my ol' Uncle...he REALLY had me thinkin' back to my younger days. We were laughin' 'bout all the crazy thins' that have happened over the years. Reminisced 'bout all the peeps that have come & gone. REALLY gots me longin' for those olden times & Christmases gone by. 

Man, mi amici...what I wouldn't give to be back there, now...just for a bit. 

Hug my Dad...give my Nanna a BIG kiss...be foolish with my friends. Just be young & free of worry, once 'gain. I guess we ALL wouldn't mind that huh, pals?

Today's Serenade, "I'll Be Home for Christmas", is that ONE special song that REALLY takes me back there. Takes me back to those WONDERFUL days! In a melancholy way, for sure. 

I'm hopin' that it will bring ALL youse, pals o' mine, some GREAT GREAT memories of this GREAT GREAT season, as well!

Welcome to 'nother week of Dino-Winter Month! 

TRULY a VERY special time of year, my friends. Soak it in!  

So...how's the holiday season treatin' youse' so far? 

Gettin' some Christmas shoppin' done? Deckin' the halls? Haulin' out that ol' holly & all that fun stuff? 

I knows it can get tirin', pallies. Especially this crazy year. It can wear youse down to the bone...if youse let it! 

Make sure youse take a breather every now & then! 'Member what the month is REALLY all 'bout...Celebratin' our DINO!!! Hahaha!!! 

Among other obvious thins'... of course...this month is to REALLY soak in that Dino vibe. REALLY listen to what he is tellin' us... & REALLY follow in his GREAT GREAT footsteps. Relax. Be cool, baby. Let thins' roll off your shoulder, pallie. Life's too damn short to sweat the little thins'! Even the big thins'! Haha!! 

Well...I thinks it's been 'nough time since we had an EXTRA special Serenade. How's 'bout a wee bit o "Duetin' with Dino"?! Yes! Cool! 

Thinks we could ALL use some "EXTRA SPECIALNESS" rights 'bout now! 

Seems to me...there's really only ONE jam that TOTALLY gets this month swingin'! And...there's only TWO cool cool cats that can swing on it together! 

Of course I is referrin' to "Marshmallow World" by Dean & Frank! 

Likes no other duet known to man has ever entertained the masses SO SO feverishly, pals! Haha!!

And seein' how yesterday was what would have been Ol' Blue Eyes' Birthday...this TRULY couldn't be any more perfecto of a tune! 

It DEF I NATE LY gets me in the holiday spirit & DEF I NATE LY keeps me in that  Wintery Dino-vibe!

Here comes the white stuff! Upwards of 12" in good ol' New England, they is sayin'. 

The wintery weather has finally hit! 

Actually, it is still technically Fall...BUT...I'm lookin' out my window & man o man...I'm seein' snowflakes! 

Now if that doesn't say "Dino-Winter Month" than I'm Jack Frost! Haha! 

Well, since this IS the first snowy Sunday Serenade of this WON DER FUL time of year...I figured I get right into that Dino-swingin' & Wintery singin' kinda jam! 

What better tune to kick thins' off than, "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let I Snow"!!! 

Dean is at his SWOONINIST! REALLY pourin' on that Dino-charm in this one, pallies! 

Now seriously mi amici...what lucky dame could POSSIBLY let Dean leave on such a blizzardy night?! C'mon now ladies! I mean this COOL COOL cat even brought his own corn for poppin'!!! Hahaha!!! 

Yes Sir! That's my Dino! Ha!!! 

Well...If I know our BESTEST & SMOOTHEST pal... likes I thinks I do...then he's gonna be "goodbyin"...'til ALL the poppin' corn has been popped & that delightful fire has flickered it's last flickerin' flicker!!! Haha!!!

DEF I NATE LY has to use the newly animated Dino vid, we first seen last year. Lotta fun watchin' a cartoony Dean Martin serenadin' his lady friend. Is it 'sposed to be Jeanne? Hmmmm...I don't recall Jeanne bein' a brunette. O well...Haha!! That's our guy! Hahaha!!! 

So, mi amici...I says we all gotta get comfy today...pour up a nice glass of whatever...And since we've no particular place to go...I says, "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it freakin' Snow!" Hahaha!!!
