50 years ago, 1964: Dean Martin was the guest star-host of "The Hollywood Palace" a television variety spectacular. On the bill were Britain's sensational singing group The Rolling Stones, the King Sisters, and Bertha the Elephant and her daughter Tina.
Just one of "many great moments of Dino-history" indeed, pal! Man...1964! For some reason that just seems like THE coolest year to have been alive. My kinda time! 'Specially 'cause our pal 'mongst pals was at his peak, in my humble opinion, of total coolness & world domination! Haha!! What I wouldn't give to be swingin' in that cool cool year of the sixties!
ReplyDeleteHey pallie, likes Danny-o, we hear you dude. Likes if we were to choose the coolest Dino-years to relive, we gotta 'fess up that we woulda chose the early seventies..say 1970 through 1974...when our Dino's personal life became completely congruent with his professional persona. Of course, likes to be able to return to any Dino-era woulda be deeply deeply delightful! Keeps lovin' 'n sharin' our one, our only DINO!
