Hey pallies, likes there is Dino-devotion and then there is DINO DEVOTION!    Almost daily ilovedinomartin searches the world wide web to share with Dino-holics everywhere the length, depth, and breath of awesomely amazin' amore for our most most beloved Dino from 'round the Dino-globe and we are constantly confounded by the marvelous many and veritable varied ways that our Dino is remarkably remembered to this very Dino-day.  Likes today is Day 2 of our special three day Dino-series accentin' our Dino and his cool croon, "That's Amore.

Dino-holics every Dino-where. we are perfectly pleased to share with  youse  more incredible international devotion to our Dino from Aussieland that has happened Dino-day in and Dino-day for tons of Dino-decades.  From the pen of Mr. Simon Johanson, swank scriber for "The Sydney Morning Herald," comes news of the imminent demolision of an Australian Alps "watering hole" tagged "Mt Buller’s Kooroora Hotel" "to make way for a $40 million development."  So youse are askin', "likes what's the Dino-connect.

In Mr. Johanson's writin's he happenss to mention that the hotel "famously plays the Dean Martin classic That’s Amore before closing its doors at night."  Likes the pub which is known as "Hoo Ha" was opened in 1953, the same year that our Dino recorded "That's Amore" for the Martin and Lewis big screen classic, "The Caddy." In doin' a bit of Dino-research we learned that "That's Amore" was released on  November 7, 1953, so we ain't sure when the pub began the Dino-tradition, but it musta been goin' on for at least 60 years or more.

Likes we stand in absolute awe of this wonderful waterin' hole who has daily hugely homaged our Dino for so so many many years...likes totally totally Dino-outstandin' for Dino-sure!  And, as you read more of the prose, we're not surprised when Simon notes that "property manager Martin Ansell" stated, "A few nostalgic tears might be shed when That’s Amore plays for the last time."  since the pub will be recreated in the new construction, we trust the Dino-tradition will continue on once the new pub opens.

Bumper snow sees alpine resorts bounce back

A bumper snow season has underpinned record property sales in Australia’s alps that will see one of the region’s best known watering holes, Mt Buller’s Kooroora Hotel, demolished next month to make way for a $40 million development.

The snowfields pub which opened in 1953 is affectionately known as the ‘Hoo Ha’ and famously plays the Dean Martin classic That’s Amore before closing its doors at night.

“The Kooroora is quite simply where Mt Buller parties. It’s the social heart of the village. A few nostalgic tears might be shed when That’s Amore plays for the last time,” he said.
