My first Dino album. And I was off and running. I bought every 33 rpm I could find!
ReplyDeleteBTW, in 1965, my Tennessee cousin Beverly, about a year younger than I -- that is age, about age 12 -- introduced the Reprise Dino to me: "We'll Sing in the Sunshine" was the tune, and the tune is on the album pictured in this blog post. At first hearing, I fell in love with our Dino's velvet voice.
ReplyDeleteWhen I returned home to Virginia, what was playing at the local cinema? The Sons of Katie Elder! I had free admission because the theater owner was Dad's best friend. I went to see the movie over and over again -- on the big screen.
