"The Caddy" bein' screened at the Mary Pickford Theatre, third floor of the Madison Building, Library of Congress.

Hey pallies, here's a huge heads up for all youse Dino-holics in the Washington D.C. area.  Clear your schedules for this comin' Thursday evening, March 15 'cause a Martin & Lewis comedy classic is bein' screened FOR FREE on that Dino-evening.  From the blog "the bloggy, bloggy dew - Pat Padua: writer, photographer, American" comes the noteworthy news that the fun fun feature flick "The Caddy" will be swankly screened on  "Thursday, March 15 at 7 p.m. Mary Pickford Theatre, third floor of the Madison Building, Library of Congress."

Mr. Padua, among other thin's is  a "film critic, photographer, native Washingtonian, and Oxford comma defender."  We were thrilled to learn 'bout this rare screenin' from his recent post, "Run the Gamut of Cinema This Week With Lewis and Martin and Lear on 35mm."  As we mentioned 'bove the screenin' is FREE and "Seating is on a first-come first-serve basis. Doors open at 6:30 pm."

Likes, oh how we Dino-dreams that we were closer to our national capital to be able to attend this marvelous opportunity to see our most beloved Dino and his most beloved partner in such a wonderful settin' as a Library of Congress buildin'.  Ain't it the greatest to see  the historic Library of Congress sharin' our Dino and Mr. Lewis!   We thanks Mr. Pat Padua for sharin' this wonderful news at his blog and we hopes that tons of Dino-holics will be able to join in the Dino-fun.  To checks this out in it's original source, likes simply clicks on the tag of this Dino-report.

THE CADDY

Talented golfer Harvey (Jerry Lewis) is too shy to follow his father’s lead as a golf pro. Instead, Harvey becomes an instructor–starting with his fiancee’s brother (Dean Martin). The Mary Pickford Theatre at the Library of Congress pays homage to the late Lewis with this Norma Taurog-directed comedy full of howls and laughter. Martin, who scored a soundtrack hit with “That’s Amore,” confessed that he “couldn’t remember the last time had so much fun making  a picture.” Crazy, man, crazee!
