......and his godfather Dean Martin

Hey pallies, likes can any of youse Dino-holics image the huge,  humblin' honor of havin' our most most beloved Dino as your godfather?  Likes who 'mong us wouldn't totally thrill to be able to call our Dino god-daddy-o?!?!?!?!  Well, today we share with you 'bout a pallie tagged  Mr. Chris Schiavone who indeed has our one and only Dino as his godfather.

From the blog tagged  "RGJ - Reno Gazette Journal," comes a feature article tagged "Toni Rigatonis: A new Italian spot with a touch of old Vegas," scribed by correspondent Mr. Johnathan L. Wright.   Likes it seems that Mr. Schiavone has opened a new  restaurant in northwest Reno and one of the pixs decoratin' one of the walls of his eatery is of his baptism as an infant with his proud father holdin' him, with his mother lookin' on.  Also in the image is little Chris' godparents...and as you will see below....our Dino is his godfather!

We are only includin' the Dino-image and a few words of description below, but, as usual, if you clicks on the tag of this Dino-gram, you will be transported to the original post and can read all 'bout the new restaurant.  Likes, to our way of Dino-thinkin', it woulda be well worth the trip to Reno to get a personal glimpse of this delightful Dino-pose.  We thanks Mr. Johnathan L. Wright and all the pallies at "RGJ" for this great review of Mr. Chris Schiavone's new restaurant, and givin' all us Dino-philes a gander at our Dino as god-daddy-o!

We remain,

Yours in Dino,

Dino Martin Peters

There’s an old promotional card for “La Dolce Vita”; a photograph signed by Marisa Tomei; a picture of Frank and Elvis kitted out in dinner jackets; one of a busty young Sophia Loren; and a picture of an infant Schiavone, his parents, his godmother (an opera singer), and his godfather Dean Martin (yes, that Dean Martin) at Schiavone’s baptism.

  4. DMP,
    Google images for Beverly Sills.

Do you think that I'm correct?

I recall that, at least once, Beverly Sills was a guest on our Dino's weekly show. Video here.

  5. Another thought...Could that be Dinah Shore?

  6. Hey pallie, likes Miss AOW, I don't recall Dinah ever singin' opera. It may very well be Beverly, but I would think that if it were, they would have named her because she is famous.
For now, it is yet 'nother Dino-mystery. Keeps lovin' our most beloved Dino!

  7. Let me clarify....What I mean was this: is that Dinah Shore standing next to our Dino in the photo in the body of the blog post (instead of, as I first thought, Beverly Sills)?

Dinah Shore and Beverly Sills were not lookalikes, but did look quite a bit like each other when they were young.
