Dean Martin posing for a Rheingold beer ad, 1955 © Paul Hesse

Hey pallies, likes it's amazin' where google's blog Dino-search will takes  you.  Likes just a few minutes 'go we were doin' our almost daily google search for Dino-devotion to shares with all youse Dino-philes when we came 'cross this powerfully posed pix of our Dino thats we knows that we have shared numerous times before here at ilovedinomartin.

But, likes in the past this image of our most beloved Dino has been quite the Dino-mystery as we have had no background to the who, what, when, where, and why this pix was shot.  Today, when we wandered into the tumblr pad, "FuckYeahVintage-Retro," we gots a number of answers to our Dino-quires.  As you will note below the photo is from 1955 and was shot by photographer Mr. Paul Hesse.
And, the reason for this pix is as an advert  for  Rheingold beer.  'though not mentioned it appears that the image was shot in a clubhouse settin', and likes it woulda be so so interestin' to know which golf course it was taken.

Likes ain't it the greatest pallies to keeps learn more and more details of Dino-history and growin' in our knowledge of our King of Cool?!?!?!?!   W sez our  thanks to the pallies at  "FuckYeahVintage-Retro" for sheddin' a good deal of Dino-light on this Dino-pose!  To checks this out in it's original source, simply clicks on the tag of t his Dino-gram.  Dino-discoverin', DMP

Your boy Dean is highlighted throughout this page. His movie career has been seriously underappreciated.
