“You mean you’re gonna go out there alone?!”

Hey pallies, likes here's a Dino-tale that I have never heard before, and likes knows all you Dino-philes will loves to hear. From the annals of the blog pad Book Of Bourbon, "a shared whiskey journey started by Ally Ramos and Stephen Walker," comes a Dino-story that Mr. Orson Welles related to Mr. Pete Bogdanovich.

Seems that Welles was backstage at the Dino-show preparin' to perform, when our most beloved Dino knocked on Orson's dressin' room door and offered his pallie a drink...and you are goin' to have to read the account below to see what happened.

Just so so loves to read each and every Dino-encounter thats I can, so thanks ever so much to Ally Ramos and Stephen Walker for sharin' this behind-the-scenes Dino-remembrance with all their readers. To view this in it's original format, likes just clicks on the tag of this Dino-gram. Dino-diggin', DMP

“In 1969, Orson Welles told me that he’d been backstage in his own Dean Martin Show dressing room when, before the taping, Dean knocked, then came in, drink in hand. ‘Hey Orson,’ he said, holding up his glass, ‘you want one of these before we…?’

Orson shook his head. ‘No, no, Dean, I’m fine, thanks.” Martin looked shocked. “You mean you’re gonna go out there alone?!” Welles roared with laughter when he told me the story. ‘Alone!’ he repeated loudly. ‘Isn’t that great!?’ Orson went on, ‘That’s the best definition of addiction I’ve ever heard.’”
