Meanwhile the car that took the fancy of the King of Cool – Dean Martin – is rarer still, with only 22 of the V8-powered Mercedes SSK-style cars built in 1973.

Hey pallies, likes we gotta 'fess up that we are powerfully pumped by the mighty marvelous multiplicity of wonderful ways that the name of our most most beloved Dino continues to be lifted up in daily news a la the ol' world wide web.  Today, bein' once 'gain lovin'ly led by our pallies at google Dino-'lerts, we are proudly pleased to take youse to the "GOODWOOD ROAD AND RACING" site where noteworthy news of the stunnin' sale of a Dino-ride has been awesomely accented in the feature, "11 Stars from the Bonhams 77th Members’ Meeting sale" scribed by Mr. Bob Murray.

As youse will read below, the pallies at Goodwood held "Bonhams 77th Members Meeting" auction this past weekend and that amazin' automobile sale included one of our Dino's primo prized rides....a 1973 Excalibur.  Likes a photo of this rare ride is featured at the top of this Dino-gram 'long with a standup cutout of our one and only Dino.  This delightful Dino-treasure went for  £75,900, which, if we did our math correctly translates into $99.292.38!

Likes how lucky can some pallie be as to now claim ownership of this elegently  exquisite set of wheels once driven by none other then our great great man.  And, yet 'nother excellent opportunity to drop the name of our Dino and draws who knows who into bein' welcomed into our Dino's world!

Meanwhile the car that took the fancy of the King of Cool – Dean Martin – is rarer still, with only 22 of the V8-powered Mercedes SSK-style cars built in 1973. Restored, with 21,000 miles and that famous name in the logbook as the first owner, the Excalibur went to a new home for £75,900.
