Mom, Did You….like Dean Martin?

Hey pallies, likes today we are perfectly pumped to share with you 'nother energetic entry of Dino-devotion with a touchin' twist to it.  From the blog "Nana's Whimsies - Musings of a Baby Boomer….," blogger Nana Kris in her post "Mom, Did You....Part 2," scribes 'bout questions that she wished she had asked her mother before she passed.

And, likes guess what pallies?......you guessed it folks, one of the quires that Miss Kris wishes she had inquired of her mother 'bout is indeed Dino-centric.  Miss Kris question is "Did you like Dean Martin?"  Likes, as you will read below, Kris believed that her Mom likes Dean Martin, while her sister Jen didn't. Neither sister knows for certain, 'cause the question never got asked.

Likes, why we absolutely appreciate this post is that of all the entertainers, all the singers that Miss Kris could wonder whether her mother loved, her wonderin' accents our most beloved Dino.  And, it is a great question for all us Dino-devotees to ask those nearest and dearest to us....a great way to begin a conversation 'bout our own absolute appreciation for our King of Cool.

We thanks Nana Kris for this interestin' insightful 'n intriguin' post, and to check it out in it's original source, simply clicks on the tag of this Dino-message.

We remain,

Yours in Dino,

Dino Martin Peters

Mom, Did You….Part 2

I am continuing contemplating things I wish I would have asked my mother. The moral of this (and yesterday’s) blog is: CHILDREN, ASK YOUR PARENTS QUESTIONS NOW.
Did you like Dean Martin?
Now this question is to address a disagreement that my sister Jen and I have had for years. She believes Mom loathed Dean Martin. I believe Mom liked Dean Martin. When we were young, Mom always had her radio turned on to K-F-A-B……in O-Ma-Ha! Trust me, the jingle is in my mind. Anyway, I remember her happily listening to songs such as Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime, and You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Loves You. Further, I know she and Dad watched the Dean Martin variety show, and while she did get somewhat disgusted at his apparent drunkenness on stage, I still believe she liked him. So, Jen: Mom knows and God knows.
