mimicing the speech and song of Dean Martin




Hey pallies, likes we always always stand in amazin' awe of  the enormous, enumerable wondrous ways that our most beloved Dino has touched the lifes of common folks likes us and we are tremendously thrilled to continue to share terrific testimonials with all youse Dino-holics as they turn up all over the ol' 'net.

Today we takes you to the blog pad of "THE SISKIYOU DAILY NEWS" in  Yreka, CA where scriber Mr. David Smith tells the story of Mr. Dean Tackett, who will be performin' a concert of "Elvis' gospel" songs in  Fort Jones this Sunday, March 13.  In introducin' "Siskiyou" readers to Mr. Tackett's musical journey, Smith relates how Dean "had grown up with a severe hearing impairment" and how 'nother Dean....our Dino had aided him in enhancin' "his own elocution."

Tackett, who is himself a distant cousin of Elvis, told the Siskiyou Daily News in a recent interview that he had grown up with a severe hearing impairment. He said that he would put his ear up against the family’s black and white television, mimicing the speech and song of Dean Martin in order to enhance his own elocution.
