Danny G's Sunday Serenade with Dino: "Tie A Yellow Ribbon 'Round The Ole Oak Tree"

Welcome pallies, welcome!
How's my fellow Dino-holics doin'? Hangin' in there? Good!
Thins' warmin' up this week, pals...so they say.
Oh well...I've been simmerin' ALL Winter, anyway! Haha!
Dino has that power over me! No matter WHAT is goin' on outdoors...I'm ALWAYS in a perfect state of COOL COOL COMFORT! Ha!
That's how POWERFUL Dean is! Like a comfort food for the soul! Not too Hot...Not too Cold. Just RIGHT!
I'm bettin' youse feel the same exact way, mi amici!

This week's Serenade comes as a "special" request!

A certain Dino-phile out there has asked me to share a certain Dino-croon that reminds them of warmer, stress free days, with family & friends.
"Tie A Yellow Ribbon 'Round The Ole Oak Tree", probably has this power with MANY of us "Minions of Martin"! Haha!!

This GREAT GREAT, comfortin' croon was a FAVE of a VERY special person in my pals life & I hope it brings some happy thoughts their way! This ones for you!
Ahhh, pallies...so so nice to have those memories brought to mind with certain Dino-jams.
So So nice to create NEW memories NOW...to think back upon someday!

OK pals o mine...let's go back to 1975.
Dean's in Vegas, baby!
Ken's on piano...& life is good!
What a time it musta been!
Cherish everyday, pallies...someday these memories will warm OUR hearts & comfort OUR souls too! Enjoy!

I'm coming home I've done my time
Now I've got to know what is or isn't mine
If you received my letter telling you I'd soon be free
Then you'll know just what to do if you still want me
If you still want me

Oh tie a yellow ribbon round the ole oak tree
It's been three long years do you still want me
If I don't see a ribbon round the ole oak tree
I'll stay on the bus forget about us put the blame on me
If I don't see a yellow ribbon round the ole oak tree

Bus driver please look for me
Cause I couldn't bear to see what I might see
I'm really still in prison and my love she holds the key
A simple yellow ribbon's what I need to set me free
I wrote and told her please

Oh tie a yellow ribbon round the ole oak tree...

Now the whole damned bus is cheering and I can't believe I see
A hundred yellow ribbons round the ole oak tree

Talk about a classic song - i had no idea that DM had his own version of this one. I know Tony Orlando sand this song and i love DM's take on it.

Thank you for bringing this treasure our way.

Have a great week.
