I must admit that as a nerdy 13 year-old, I bought the album, and liked the song!

Hey pallies, likes just a few moments ago, likes as we begin doin' our almost day Dino-search at google, almost immediately we found the followin' Dino-gram below.  Likes it is from July 11, 2013 and today is the first time that it hit the blog search list for our most beloved Dino.  So, likes we just had to stop our searchin' and post this asap...not likes 'cause it is the grandest and greatest of Dino-devotion...but 'cause it seems to come from just an average dude tagged Edward Karns and 'cause it shows how much people likes us loves our Dino!  Karns blog his Dino-passion at his blog, "Me, Myself, Music and Mysteries."

As you will note the reason for Karn's Dino-post is 'cause he was readin' of the significance of July 11 in the life, times, and teachin's of our Dino....the date in 1946 when our King of Cool started his recordin' career, and the date in 1964 that "Everybody Loves Somebody" hit the charts.  And, likes these bits of Dino-historical importance jogged Edward's memory as a child growin' up with our Dino and his hit show.

Loves how Mr. Karns 'fesses up to the fact that...." I must admit that as a nerdy 13 year-old, I bought the album, and liked the song! The song is one of those songs that once it gets in my head it stays for a while, 'If I had it in my power.…'"  Indeed such is the transformin' power of our most most beloved Dino.  Likes the two youtube clips that Edward included have by now been removed from youtube, but we simply simply had to share this oh so simple but oh so sweet prose of Dino-adulation.

ilovedinomartion sez "Hats Off!" to Mr. Edward Karn for sharin' his sweetest of sweet Dino-memories with his readership and bearin' witness to his long lastin' love for our great great man.  To checks this out in it's original source, simply clicks on the tag of this Dino-gram.  And, likes now backs to our Dino-researchin'.
Dino-always, ever, and only, DMP

Today in Music 1946 and 1964 – Dean Martin Makes Music, and Into the Night laughing with Dino!
by Edward Karn • July 11, 2013

Dean Martin Show

So when I was growing up my father usually worked to exhaustion, and therefore he did not watch a lot of television. He did though often watch Ed Sullivan, mostly for the comedians and the occasional Bob Hope special. Another show that he watched was The Dean Martin Show, mostly for those Gold Diggers!

Gokddiggers
All these thoughts popped into my head today because this morning I read two events that  involved Dean Martin. The first was that on this date in 1946, Dean started his music recording career, only weeks before he teamed up with Jerry Lewis. Then in 1964 his hit “Everybody Loves Somebody” entered the charts. I must admit that as a nerdy 13 year-old, I bought the album, and liked the song! The song is one of those songs that once it gets in my head it stays for a while, “If I had it in my power.…”

So we could go “Into the Night” with that song from Dino…… but then I saw this The Best of The Dean Martin Show video. Watching it brings back a lot of memories about how funny that show was, Dean’s ability to laugh at himself. He always seemed like he was having a good time. The video also brought back memories of old stars like, Bob Hope, Jack Benny, Paul Lynde and Jonathan Winters!

So rather than going “Into the Night” with some music from Dean, let’s laugh along with him!! I love the second video with Bob Newhart, who can always make me laugh!!!
