Dino Martin Jr. Memorial Wall Tribute

Hey pallies, likes as I was searchin' the 'net for more ways to honor the passin' our our most beloved Dino's most beloved boypallie Dino Jr. I was totally totally psyched to see that the EAA (“Experimental Aircraft Association") blog site has posted a very special Memorial Wall Tribute to Dino Jr.

I was simply searchin' for images of our Dino and Dino Jr. and felt so so Dino-directed to this pix of Dino Jr. in uniform, and low and behold I found this very very special obiturary. Certainly wants to thanks all the pallies at the EAA for honorin' our great man's great boypallie in this way. Captain Dean Paul Martin (11/17/1951 - 03/21/1987)
Dean Paul Martin (November 17, 1951 - March 21, 1987) was an American singer and actor. The son of actor/singer Dean Martin, he was "Dino" in the pop group Dino, Desi, & Billy. He was only thirteen when he, Desi Arnaz Jr., and William "Billy" Hinsche formed the trio. Oriented toward teenage girls, the group had hits between 1965 and 1968, landing in the Top 30 twice.

Martin later began to go by his given name Dean Paul instead of the nickname "Dino". He distinguished himself as a top tennis pro, and actor. He appeared in the 1979 film Players, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award as Best New Star of the Year - Male, and later starred in the TV series Misfits of Science which aired during the 1985-1986 television season.

Martin, an officer in the California Air National Guard met an untimely death in 1987 when his National Guard F-4 Phantom fighter jet crashed in a mountainous area of California, killing him and his RIO (Radar Intercept Officer), Ramon Ortiz.
Dean Paul Martin was the former husband of both actress Olivia Hussey and Olympic skating gold medalist Dorothy Hamill. Martin's twelve-year-old son, Alexander, had watched his father take off on the ill-fated flight.

He is buried in the Los Angeles National Cemetery, a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs cemetery in Los Angeles, California.

Hey pallie, likes I thought the same thin' Miss AOW....so so glad that Miss Deana shared this tender thought with the world...and, yes, our Dino and Jeanne did a very very fine job of raisin' up beloved boypallie Dino Jr. Keeps lovin' our Dino!
