On This Day In Dinohistory....April 3, 1949

ON THIS DAY IN CAPITOL RECORDS HISTORY
60 Years Ago Today In 1949 - Capitol Records team Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis debut their NBC Radio program. Their first guest is Lucille Ball. The show will run until 1952. Numerous references to Capitol Records appear on the show and one episode has them taking Burl Ives into Capitol Records' studios for a recording session.

Hey pallie DMP. Wow! That's so cool. I didn't realize that. I wanted to thank you for all the great comments you leave on my Dino Lounge blog. Also thanks for the comments about the clips from The Wrecking Crew at the Celluloid Slammer blog I'm a contributor at. My post at the Dino Lounge today isn't of the Rat Pack, but I'm curious to find out from you if you ever heard if Dino used what's in the ad. I can't remember hearing about him using it.
